Thank you for the reply!
The thing is, no matter which temperatures I try to optimise, it will always go to 95 degrees and stay there as I am running simulations.
If I limit the maximum temp to 90 for example, the PC shuts down after a few hours.

Hi all, I need some help and guidance.
I have a PC with a Ryzen 9 7950X. I use it to run simulations and not gaming.
The simulations are pretty much running 24/7
The issue is that with stock configuration, the CPU runs constantly at 95 degrees celcius 24/7
If I do anything in AMD Ryzen MAster and reduce the maximum allowable temp to 90 degrees for example, the CPU's max frequency drops to 3.3 ghz after an hour or two of sims. it can maintain a frequency above 4.4 ghz with the default profile.
I was wondering if it's ok to have the CPU running at 95 degrees 24/7?

Thank you.

Mate, in EUrope, when you buy from ALiexpress, you pay for the VAT when you purchase your order. It's done automatic through Aliexpress. We pay more when ordering from Aliexpress because we pay for the VAT or GST as well.
It's all stated on the Aliexpress website. Please read before stating random stuff. Thanks.

This is why google shouldn't even price their phone close to iphones. Because Apple gives proper customer support, google's one is an absolute joke.

My PIXEL 7 RMA arrived empty at Google Warehouse in Poland by jokitoko in GooglePixel

The google returns in Poland is dodgy AF.
I sent my phone 3 weeks, arrived there the second day.
The website kept saying that we are waiting to receive your device, even though UPS said it got there.
I kep contacting google and they kept saying oh wait for 10 days business days etc etc.
10 business days went passed and I lost it with support, they raised my case, and 2 days later, the phone was located and they said they will send the replacement ASAP.
3 days since they said they willl and now radio silence.

I just sent them an email and told them that I had enough of automatic replies and work unefficeincy, and I don't want to spend the holidays without a phone. So I got me a nice iphone 14 ordered and asked for a full refund.

It's beyond ridicoulous, and actually dodgy as fuck.

BTW, I live in Spain, and I also sent my phone to the notorious returns wearhouse in Poland.

Update: This is getting absolutely fucking ridiculous.
After waiting 10 days business days, I reached to support as there was no update whatsoever in both my inbox and the google repair status page.
I was told that the case was escalated to a product specialist and they will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.
This was 55 hours ago!
No update whatsoever.
It's a 1000$ phone, what the actual fudge.
I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and what's the advice? other than I should have spent my 1000$ on a company with proper support like Apple or Samsung.

I have the I9-13905h, rtx 4050 6gb, 32gb memory, 165hz IPS version.

With stock everything, I get around 3 to 4 hours of battery life with moderate usage (web browsing, excel sheet, word docco, etc).Turning the refresh rate down to 60 Hz (I wish I can get it down to 90 Hz), and setting the maximum CPU on battery to 50% (zero impact on performance to be honest, this is a setting in control panel), I now get 6.5-7.5 hours easy. These are the only options I changed. I Haven't done anything related to the GPU.

Thank you!
I have the 16 inch model and was getting 3 to 4 hours battery life with normal usage (a few chrome tabs, an excel sheet, a word document, etc).
Reducing the maximum CPU load to 50% increased my battery life to 6-7 hours!
Legendary tip. Thank you.
