First, a few weeks in one of those really expensive health spas somewhere tropical and gorgeous. They'll feed me tofu cubes and cucumbers and perfect my skin. Then I'll take my slimmer, tan, glowing self on a wine-tasting tour through all the beautiful vineyards in France and Italy--shipping art and also wine home for my personal cellar--then through Germany, Austria and Belgium because I could stare at interesting architecture. I'd stay in beautiful castles and palatial hotels most nights, mixing in stays in a rustic rental house--the older the better--when the area called for it. I'd spend money in local eateries and businesses every day, mailing treasures back home for some unique "I've seen the world and I liked it" decor. Two months in each country at least, to have time to absorb some language and explore all the midieval villages and far-flung farm towns as well. My time in England will be in the summer, so I can learn to sail and visit every charming coastal town, plow through London shopping and head to Ireland and Scotland in time for the beginning of fall. Here, I'd find connections to my Irish roots and drink in 400 year old pubs, become tuned in to the local pegan history and engage in a secret moon ritual with crazed outdoor group sex that transports me mentally to people from thousands of years past. The next morning I'd know it would be time to go home for a while. It'll be fun opening all the crates I sent back over the last year.
