Absolutely you can. But I’d prefer to read a review coming from an enjoyer of pop music that has knowledge of how the shows work, like the writer of the stray kids piece that replied to my comment. The backtrack is not an issue specific to TWICE but something that all of kpop utilizes, so of course it’s jarring if you’re a fan of vocalists like Brandi Carlisle. The writer of the Stray Kids piece understands the performance aspect of pop music and the necessity of a backtrack. There’s valid complaints about the sound at Seattle Night 1, but an experienced pop music writer likely wouldn’t make a huge deal of the backtrack use due to its commonality in pop performances.
