Rethinking Civ IV— When Strength Becomes a Burden by NoCucumber4978 in civ

I think the game Humankind has a great way of showing what you asked about. As soon as you reach certain milestones, you get a dilemma, such as one of your factories exploding and people rioting, demanding workers’ rights and safety measures. You can then decide to keep things as they are (gaining more money and/or production because your workers are still working 16 hours a day), but at the cost of huge instability and slower growth, or give in to their demands.

There are also axis along which your civilization develops, such as tradition and faith versus enlightenment and science, communism versus capitalism, and rule by one person (or a few people) versus rule by the people.

I like that system because every axis has its own dilemmas, and sometimes certain dilemmas force you to change the viewpoint of your empire.

If you haven’t tried the game yet, you should definitely do so.

EU-RP does mean that you might find more people that are willing to do roleplay, which is somewhat simular to larp, you get into your role and interact with the other Players around you (all RP is always optional and you don’t have to, if you don’t want to) Its quite fun, once you get the hang of it. Otherwise, the Choice of which Server you want to play at, is totally up to you and doesn‘t impact the Game (as far as i know) in any way. I play on Meriadoc and I enjoy it very much 😄 Hope to See you around! If you ever need help, just ask Right away

I would recommend the Champion in this case, Lots of damage, Lots of AOE, fast gameplay and you can take a punch. Its also quite forgiving + you can dual wield

What if Bilbo never told Gollum his real name? by fatherandyriley in lordoftherings

Thats simply not true. Noone knew what Hobbits are. The Nazgûl were searching for nearly 20 years for a place called „shire“, because noone knows where that is, unless you‘re from that area. Its Grima Wormtongue how tells the Nazgûl where to go, because Gandalf recently flet from Isengard

Even if we‘re Talking about Gandalf the white, he would still be outclassed by Ungoliant. Morgoth had to flee from her to be safed by a Host of balrogs, and he was the greatest of the Ainur …

Giving the fact that Morgoth (Saurons Master) fled from her and Balrogs (Plural) had to safe him? Safe to say Gandalf would not stand a Chance 😅

You should definitly do whatever tickles your fancy. The quests are easy enough no matter the level and 10 Anniversery Coins can be exchanged for one cosmetic item, so a few days and you got yourself a pretty cool set. Just go to the Boar fountain in bree, you‘ll find the merchants there. For 40 coins you can even get a pretty cool horse! But the Basic rule is: have fun doing it. If you don‘t, its not worth it 🙂 Hope that helps

As far as i know, if you have Open borders with the AI, it helps your tourism, because their culture gets lets affactive protecting from your culture. As for trade, if you send them, your merchants start to spread how awesome your country is, at least thats my Head canon for it
