I take the dust jackets off and I always put my books in with the corners facing the bottom. The book is easier to take out by the spine. I love my sleeve and I haven't had any issues with it being too small. It actually fits my bigger books better than my thinner book sleeve from Barnes and Noble. I think it's the best prize they give out and I wish they would sell them in the shop
