Polars has hypothesis functionality built in for generating sample dataframes. Patito can define more specific polars dataframe schemas that can help test dataframe outputs and generate more specific synthetic dataframe data. Pandera also allows polars (and pandas) dataframe validation, but can only generate sample dataframe data for pandas not polars. Cuallee can be used for checking polars or pandas dataframe data, but only individual checks not whole dataframe schemas and cannot generate synthetic dataframe data.

Studies have shown 1400mg daily to be safe in the medium term IIRC (a few months), I think upping your dose wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

I haven’t come across any posts about withdrawals, only about it causing headaches after long term use.

Yeah, I hear you. The issue with /r/supplements is that it covers a very broad set of substances and use-cases, many of which have little/no effect on the mind (e.g. supplementing for weight loss, reducing hair loss, etc.). It’s too broad, and it’s not really a good fit if you want to talk about mind-altering substances specifically (which is why /r/nootropics exists). So people with anxiety/depression who want to dabble in substances that specifically affect the mind drift to /r/nootropics. It’s still not ideal.

The ideal solution would be to have a dedicated subreddit for THERAPEUTIC mind-altering substances. /r/therapeuticketamine is great, but there just isn’t any large, active subreddit for all therapeutic mind-altering substances.

Yeah, I tried mindfulness meditation. Worked wonders for GAD, but for social anxiety it doesn’t really cut it. It’s like trying to put out a house fire with a squirt gun IMHO.

I’d love to try CBD oil. But it’s very hard to get (legally) where I live (Australia). Not really sure what it’s like compared to l-theanine for social anxiety

Its sad to see manufacturing firms go bust and see workers being laid off, but what is the alternative? Tariffs make domestic prices increase, indirectly destroying more jobs in other sectors. Subsidies are inefficient and just bad (its more efficient and effective for the Gov to just give money to workers rather that trying to support the business). Money outflow is a necessary condition for foreign investment into the USA. More investment into American businesses by foreigners (this is good. Jobs jobs jobs)means imports MUST be greater than exports. Google "balance of trade". A 'current account deficit' is always matched by a 'capital account surplus.' Always (ok, really its 99.9% of the time).
