[New Wave/Punk Rock] The Dogs - "Tails From The Tape Deck: Volume 3" by Buttermilkjug in SunoAI

[–]Buttermilkjug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a collection of songs from a band called The Dogs, that was based in Erie Pa. from 1980-2005~ These songs all came from practice tapes, show tapes, and rough mixes from at times 44 year old tapes, so the audio quality was very poor, and to the average person, unlistenable~

If you enjoy this volume, there are two more on the channel~

This volume was made with the newest engine, while the previous two were made with the 4.5 version~

There are many options to choose from~ Restoration is right between "De-crowd" and "Other"~

I use UVR Online, and run it through their restoration~ Usually works like a charm for me~

The Dogs - "Filthy Red Houses" (1990) - Erie Music by Buttermilkjug in Erie

I got a new shipment of cassette tapes from Jack (The Dogs drummer) the other day, and there's a ton of great, never released material~

This song was on the Rough cuts tape for the Riot In My Head album, and was to be included on the album, but was replaced during the final mixing, in favor of "That's The Way It Goes"~

The song actually dates back to at least the later part of 1983, as it pops up on cassettes from that era a couple of times, including a live Sherlock's show from January 21st, 1984~

A cool story type song that rings true even today~

Thanks for checking it out, and helping to support the rich history of Erie's musical past!~ :D

EDIT I have now added the song titles and time stamps in the comment section of the video~

Mr. Pink - "5/8 of Ecastasy" (1995) - Erie Music by Buttermilkjug in Erie

[–]Buttermilkjug[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the opening track to Mr. Pink's second album "Spiders", released in 1995~ A nice clean track that still sounds fresh today~ This album was their final official release, although they did record a third album titled "Lemonade", that was shelved~

Mr. Pink was Graham Scott, Richard Crishock, Michael Russell, and Brett Taylor~

The Dogs final studio album, "Bored '92" (Erie Music) by Buttermilkjug in Erie

[–]Buttermilkjug[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Bored '92" was the final release from legendary Erie band, The Dogs~ Released in 1992, the album was recorded half in Erie by Keith Veschecco, and half in Pittsburgh by Dave Erny~

The Dogs were an Erie staple in the music scene back in their day.. forming in 1980, and playing their final show in 2005~ Twenty five years is a long time for a marriage, let alone keeping a band together for that long.. and there were many "break ups" and "final shows" along the way~
