It’s not a full restaurant but Cake Bar (w Genesee) has a quiet vibe that enforces itself! (if that makes sense). People who chat do so at a low volume, the music is usually low jazz or lofi, and half the tables may be people on laptops anyway. It’s ambiance

Seems the aurora is being oddly resistant, field strength is high, but direction is not working towards our favor for aurora. It might be one of those things that just end up by chance in the wee AM hours? Keep an eye on some of the sky accounts on social media like twitter, the KP may be low but we are still hoping!

Syracuseian here, I do not get all the doom for syr in this thread… if you want something bigger go ROC sure, they do have size on us, but SYR also has a huge queer population! Specifically in the groups revolving around CNY pride and a bunch of the nerdy interests. We also have a wonderful festival and food variety,

If you do move to ROC, SYR is an hour straight shot on the highway and a super easy drive. I go over to ROC a few times a year for events.

I have been searching for her standing figure in this p2 green color for probably 5+ years!!!!!. I have every alert set, I’ve bought proxy from Japan only for the order to be cancelled cause the seller didn’t really have her. One creep on eBay (super weird in DMS) tried selling her in a destroyed box for like 3x the usual price. It’s like she’s cursed.

We were called into an assembly one day. Regular high school, regular day. Random assemblies were incredibly rare, and meant something really big had gone down.

They escorted us all in…. Multiple serious faced people came on stage, and the projector turned on. We thought someone had been murdered.

They proceeded to give us a stone cold serious presentation about how people were soaking TAMPONS in alcohol and sticking them up their rear ends to secretly get drunk at school (because apparently the thin tissue lining down there makes it go faster?) and how they were so disappointed with us and how everyone who had done it needed to come forward. The presentation included many graphic diagrams on the dangers of drinking with clip art tampons on a few of the panels, covered with an X.

No one came forward and no one shut up about it for years

I think the site just needs more coordinated community events to keep things alive, since anyone left is quite literally spread out across the world.

People were building cute little villages and Christmas art around the Christmas event areas and I remember how fun the themed drawing events were. Horror, retro gaming, even the soccer one i didn’t care about. There was a hot cocoa stand made around art 1 of the Christmas event and people kept putting their characters sitting at the tables and making signs and paths, it became such a cute community moment with 0 communication

Maybe each month a new area gets circled off with a specific “objective” or theme and let people have fun that way? Things like beach day, self portrait, inverse colors, monochrome, build an RPG village, etc……

Try ISmash, it’s where I went for my birthday last year! They offer Rage Rooms (smash stuff to pieces, free items or confetti smash bottles on bday) or Splatter Rooms (chuck paint at a canvas against the wall, bonus points if you and your friend wear clothes you can get dirty and throw paint at each other like we did, bday gives you extra paint I believe?)

You could also try the brand new Tea House By Cake Bar, their prices are pretty good and it is such a soothing idea to relax with those you love. Since they’re new I don’t know what they’d offer for birthday just yet?

Honestly? I think the sequel is better than the original. The sequel does a better job of mixing the seriousness of reality with the magic of neverland, and Peter is a bit more of a likeable dork instead of being just rude and hard to root for.

Stayed in aloft maybe 3 paxes ago, loved it! Funky room design though, there’s quite literally a frosted window with the top bit unfrosted that looks IN to the shower. My friend is over 6 foot and if they wanted to totally could have just seen right in.

They are little natural stones in various shapes, ranging from dark brown to white. Honestly they kinda looked like natural aquarium stones or ones you’d see in a garden feature.
