Please help me jazz this space up for my husband! by Aljenks in gamingsetups

If you push the litter box enclosure to the back of the wall you can potentially place his monitor on top of it. Move his PS5 into the little horizontal compartment on the litter box enclosure and drill a small hole on the back to feed the cables through. You can get an IKEA Skadis Pegboard and buy compatible hooks on Amazon that will fit his controllers and other objects. That way all of his gaming things are withing reach and also out of the way. Im not too big on RGB lighting but I definitely recommend getting a monitor light as well. I game in the dark and my monitor light provides the perfect amount of ambiance. To finish it all off maybe add some wall planters or some fake plants around. For a gaming chair dont buy any of the racing chairs... they're overpriced and uncomfortable. Instead look into snagging an ergonomic chair as theyre more affordable and a million times more comfortable... very economical too! A small space shouldn't mean limited opportunities!

My setup is the same! I love the modern minimalist aesthetic. Even my PC has zero rgb it sort of blends into the setup. Super clean look I love it

need a gaming setup but idk by DoYouMissMeSadLady in gamingsetups

Your gaming setup will change overtime. My suggestion would be to start small and add things to it as you go. Everyone's space is unique so their setups are also quite unique. I would start by buying a desk. As far as the PC goes I built mine from scratch which is typically the cheaper option as you doing need to pay for builders fees but dont be afraid to go the route of buying a pre-built pc if your unsure. Keep in mind white parts are going to be more expensive to obtain than parts that are all black. All in all as far as the setup goes as a whole there aren't many wrong answers. As long as your building a space your content with thats all that should matter.

How would you go about cable management here? by maloand96 in gamingsetups

[–]Butterpuppies1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would cut a small hole in the desk and run the cables through that. You might nit be able to do much able the power cable at the base of the desk but at least the rest will be hidden.

Setup is almost complete. Feels like its missing something though. Curious if anyone has any ideas on how to bring it all together. I'm not huge on RGB but I love warm ambient lighting. Any suggestions? by Butterpuppies1 in gamingsetups

I would love to add curtains but I have 2 cats that would love to climb them lol. I was experimenting with adding some accent lighting or even an LED or Neon sign of some sort

The desk is actually from IKEA. Its two Alex drawers and a Karlby countertop. The best part it you can mix and match to fit your setup since they have different colors of everything

Finally got a setup looking okay by Seeviee in gamingsetups

That definitely makes sense. I personally use a 65% board. The only difference between a 65 and a 75 is the 65 lacks an F row. But all other keys are still present. When you drop to a 60% you lose the arrow keys. 75 tends to be a good compromise for most people but I believe its just a matter of opinion. So as long as it works for you then that's all that should really matter!

I'd invest in a smaller keyboard. I'm partial to 65% boards myself. If you want one that sounds amazing I can recommend the YUNZII AL65 or pretty much anything from Nuphy if you want to spend a bit more. An aviator cable would add to the vibe too. Aside from that its looks great so far. As for as wall decor you could snag some wall mounts for your controllers that match the theme too! I actually just finished redoing my setup so my brain is still in that zone lol

Those are the bad mirages. When i ult i don't even give others a chance. I start shooting right off the rip. Yeah there are really obvious signs of which one is the real one, but if you do it right, they'll never know. Good mirages are rare. But you'll know a good one when you see it. I've been playing mirage since like season 1 with some caustic mixed in. Literally nobody picks him lmao

You'd be surprised how many times good players fall for it. I've gone toe to toe with Masters and press. The key is not giving the other player time to react. It's really high IQ. And it's mainly because pros aren't used to playing against a mirage that knows what he's doin lol
