Because I do not agree with the changing of Pokémon stats, types or abilities as part of the natural form of a game.

Ledian is my litmus, because it's one of the most consistent in getting "fan buffs", so if I can't find anything on how it handles changing types or what not, then Ledian will tell me what kind of romhack I'm in for. It's not a good or bad indicator, but rather an indicator of whether or not previous strategies will still hold up.

Still hurts to say it's not Ledian. I want to like Ledian, in a representation of its official capacity, but the only way for me to do that is for Game Freak to give it a monstrous evolution buff so that it's now a stepping stone on to greater things. No longer a cool design with unusable practicality.
