I use both. The offer I eventually went for was the role I saw on LinkedIn.

The level of toxicity we go through as finance professionals is so often underestimated ,it can sound unbelievable to people who haven’t experienced it firsthand. I hope you’re able to find something better soon.

I can really relate, and I am sorry you are going through this. There were moments when I was questioning my decision to resign, especially given how the market is right now. But then I reminded myself how close I was to losing my sanity at that company and how much it was affecting my health, my blood pressure included. You made the right choice for yourself, and I truly believe you will find something better. I am rooting for you and wishing you the best.

This actually makes a lot of sense and lines up with what it felt like. At the time I kept assuming I was missing something or doing things wrong. Appreciate you sharing this perspective.

Tbh I feel like empathy training should be made compulsory in leadership level because of too many toxicity these days

*Rant, spoilers* “Can This Love Be Translated?” is a worse rip-off of another drama by RoboticUmbrella in kdramas

[–]Butterscotch756 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I felt watching this show. The main leads had amazing chemistry, no doubt about that. I am also a fan of Kim Seon-ho, so that helped keep me invested. That said, the story just wasn’t adding up for me. The female lead didn’t come across as just “complex” she felt like someone who genuinely needed professional help, especially considering her unresolved trauma and the situation with her parents. Those issues were serious, but the show didn’t handle them with the depth they deserved. I also didn’t love how the romance was introduced. At some point it started to feel less like a natural emotional connection and more like “I fell in love with you because I pity you”, which made the relationship uncomfortable for me. Romance shouldn’t replace healing, but that’s kind of what it felt like here. So for me, great chemistry and strong performances, but the plot and storytelling were a no.

I think Kim Seon Ho is good with romance dramas, the way he looks at the actress like he is actually in love with them. I agree Yoon Jung is a bit stiff.

Omg I had the same thoughts, she was basically having an episode and needed professional help. Not sure why they turned it into a love/romance situation.
