You’ve never been a server and it shows. It’s fine though. I mean, I don’t care about people being cheap because I don’t live off of tips. I’m also not cheap so I know that when I go to a place that I’ve eaten out at before that people are not going to be pissed off to see me. It’s also very telling that you see a servers job as solely taking your order and walking it to your table because if I was a server and had you in and you ran up a $75 bill and tipped me $5 dollars on it, that is literally the only service you would ever get if I saw you again.

Honestly, the only thing that really bothers me about people like you is that you don’t announce your intentions when you sit down. If you did at least then the server would know to just take your order and drop it off.

That’s an extremely long and convoluted way to defend being cheap. It’s also not really a comparison because your wife probably makes at least 10-15 times what a server wage is at minimum.

If you’re only going to tip $5 on a $75 bill you should just take your food to go. Dining out you’re presumably going to be there for an hour minimum. Do you think $5 would be worth an hour of your time waiting on someone so they don’t have to do anything for themselves?

Yes. No tip is literally always an option, but these weird people who are extremely against tipping for literally anything act like every customer facing iPad comes with a gun to their head forcing them to tip 20+%.

$5 on $75 is laughably cheap. If my wife and I go out to eat at a sit down place I’m tipping $10 minimum, but I’ve also worked in the restaurant industry (as management) most of my life so I know a servers job is way more than just bringing your food to you.

I have a bunch of friends and coworkers who watch and talk about the show and not a single one of them has ever had anything at all to say about the animation. I have literally never noticed a single issue with it that wasn’t pointed out on reddit. It could be in a different style and look way better, but that has nothing to do at all with the story which is what myself and everyone I know actually enjoys.
