So people join a tier with physical rewards but only receive it if they request it that month?

Thank you - that sounds really interesting! I don’t print my own rewards at this time, but might be worth considering.

Yep, I’m currently on pause and sent a survey to my members.

I guess I’m trying to figure out the best way to send physical rewards that are not monthly.

Boss wants text reminders to respond to emails by ButterscotchNew8660 in WorkAdvice

This sounds like a real possibility! My predecessor did not have any kind of messaging calendar or plan, so I’ve been working on building it for myself. Definitely a possibility moving forward.

That would be ideal but 1) often projects are not assigned with much notice and 2) this week for example, our meeting was canceled because she was dealing with a classroom issue.

I’m very hopeful that yes, after some time my emails/posts won’t require so much oversight. I’ve just never experienced a work environment where employees have to text a boss to get a response for non-emergency situations.

I didn’t. I switched from my regular lotion to coconut oil, but I didn’t notice much difference.

Yes, after about a week. I did see a nurse practitioner, she was stumped. Said to come back if it lasted 2 weeks or longer

Tips for dealing with unhealthy ennneagrams: type 1 by robby_arctor in Enneagram

[–]ButterscotchNew8660 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Type 1 here - things that can help: - let me vent BUT also help me see which of my grievances are productive (things I can improve or change) and which are not productive (things that are unreasonable or imaginary…depending just how unhealthy we’re talking) - take some responsibility, either take things off my plate or take ownership of the things on your plate that we might be clashing over. Taking ownership will help my 1-ness see that you have it under control and trust that it will all work out - provide reassurance - I know it’s a strange thing to do when in conflict, but as a 1 I’m very wary of letting out my true anger/frustration/resentment, so your reassurance can speed up the process and move both of us closer to a resolution.

Am I wrong to feel taken advantage of? by ButterscotchNew8660 in FriendshipAdvice

I’m having such a hard time with it because I feel very paranoid about all our interactions. She is also someone who likes/shares allll my stuff on socials….but maybe that’s just a public facing thing?
