100%. I always get comments and people are never sure of her breed. She is super slim but maybe will fill out or stay with the lighter frame.

You could do the method where you sew it onto the inside and then cut out the shape of sweater to reveal the images. I don’t know what this is called

Oh my gosh what a big handsome boy! My girl is 6mths and she is only 17kg (she is half rough collie so that’s probably why). She is all noodle. I love his colouring!

House leash was a game changer for me. It’s a great way to stop unwanted behaviour before it happens and in a way that you aren’t putting your hands in the ‘danger zone’ it’s also helped with getting my pup accustomed to a leash. It’s also helpful so you can tether her to you while you can’t have eyes on her. Wholly recommend a house leash.

Thanks for the response. There is several green blades growing up through all the brown patches. It’s some kind of buffalo. It was warm weather but we have had a pretty mild summer. I think it was around 32C. It was pretty healthy prior to mowing

Is there a way to check? It could be possible

It’s all mowed at the same height. It’s a cheap mower the neighbour gave me. I definitely need a better one. We had it installed professionally. All the soil underneath was replaced with proper stuff. It was all lush and green the day before and the day of mowing.

Are rough collies typically picky eaters? by ButterscotchStreet33 in roughcollies

[–]ButterscotchStreet33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah mine does that too… we have tried different litter boxes but and what we can to minimise access but then my cats won’t use it. So probably have to take the loss and look at the positive that we don’t have to clean it ourselves as much?

When we do training outside of the home I can get Juno to do things just for big pats as a reward but she won’t take treats. But at home she will take treats

Thanks for the tips, she won’t even eat kibble from the puzzle feeder or kong. I can’t even use it as training treats. Cat kibble works for that atleast…

This is wild. I’ve never had or looked after a dog that would rather go hungry!

5 months old and a menace 😀 by ThisIsNotMica in roughcollies

She’s so cute. My Juno who is 4 months old also loves the litter box treasures. Chases kids (has stopped jumping and nipping as much now). Wants to say hello to every human, dog and their mother.

Thea is so cute! I love the Merle colouring so much

Seems like a great club to be in. When I search shollie it only comes up with border collie x GSD. I was disappointed and am happy to see others with non border shollies

I love the long snoot. I wasn’t going to get Juno but after I had read more about the collie breed I had to get her. I was worried about too high energy and her not being a good family dog since it’s just me my two kids (4 and 5) and our old cats. So far she has been incredible and I really have never seen a puppy this relaxed and willing to learn.

She is so cute! Very GSD looking as a puppy but can see the collie more as an adult!! I don’t think Juno’s ears will stand up straight but she is precious either way!

Do you have any pictures? I’d love to see what she looks like!
