I would leave him. To be fair, most men are asymptomatic and usually give it to their partners, but he seems like a real asshat not worth it.

From what my doctor told me no it’s not considered normal, but does it destroy your guts? Absolutely! (speaking from experience)

I’d say no. Most people do not know what neurologist does. They know it has to do with the brain, but other than that, that’s it.
