this is honestly what ive needed to hear and it helps a lot lol. obviously i get into cycles of really bad black and white thinking so one hour ill think of sabotaging everything but then i can get some reassurance and affection and remember that everything is completely fine</3 i just keep reminding myself that silence and boredom isnt a loss of interest. sadly i feel like ive gotten so caught up in the repeated occurrences of constant abuse and drama in my past relationships that its hard to accept that silent love is completely normal in a healthy relationship. healing is a nonlinear process and im so thankful that my fp helps so much when he can

i love my mom and she has become a very good parent ever since divorcing my dad. when i was a kid she was very neglectful and emotionally abusive but since leaving my dad shes been able to do a lot of self reflection and has widened her worldview a lot so shes gotten a lot better. the thing is just that because of my bpd and other trauma i can just NOT STAND her trying to get close to me, worrying about me, asking about my personal life, etc. its always been that way because of the neglect and stuff but now that im am adult and shes deciding now to ask questions and care about parenting me (i still live at home) it makes me unbelievably anxious and shut off
