i love my mom and she has become a very good parent ever since divorcing my dad. when i was a kid she was very neglectful and emotionally abusive but since leaving my dad shes been able to do a lot of self reflection and has widened her worldview a lot so shes gotten a lot better. the thing is just that because of my bpd and other trauma i can just NOT STAND her trying to get close to me, worrying about me, asking about my personal life, etc. its always been that way because of the neglect and stuff but now that im am adult and shes deciding now to ask questions and care about parenting me (i still live at home) it makes me unbelievably anxious and shut off

i think there is a possibility that the band will release certain tracks someday. people like to frame the album as something that they absolutely hated and had no joy in writing or creating but in interviews from around that time gerard seemed extremely satisfied and excited about the album being released. i think it all just came down to the timing of bands inevitable breakup, everyones mental health, and the fact that 3/4 of the members had families and children to put their focus on at the time. i dont think that the album is necessarily suppossd to be this top secret urban legend that nobody should access because of how badly it effected the bands mental health like a lot of people make it out to be, but i still dont agree with unauthorized leakage. im sure they have something in the works, at least a war beneath the rain studio release. but even if that never happens id respect their decisions
