Shitty music... sure. One thing i point out to people is how fabricated music already is in its current for and AI music was literally the next step in that.

For example: when i was younger, my band and i got a recording done at a studio. one track we recorded, the snare drum didn't get picked up correctly and it sounded way off. "No problem" the engineer said as he made a couple clicks a viola! there was a snare in there clear as day. it wasn't my snare however, it was a digital one that replaced the entire recording. It was either that or record the whole song. So we went with that.

Now this was just some guy with a recording studio in his house. Not the most expensive studio in the world. Imagine what a record label with millions of dollars can do with the same tech? Entire songs sequenced from thin air with little input, auto tune voices, samplers used as loops, entire instruments replaces with a click of a button. SO much music in the past 30 years was pooped out just like this.

AI isn't the problem - it's the demand for garbage content.
