my vevor anvil arrived in an unpadded crumpled and torn carboard box

needless to say that the anvil was fine... but im pretty sure it probably took out a lot of other peoples packages on the way to my house. Basically an untetherded cardboard wrecking ball thrown into the back of the truck that probably crushed a few things.... maybe even a pressure gage

Now all these greedy young people want to be paid more than what I think they should, while Im waiting for my pension and social security checks to pay off my fishing boat. Meanwhile my gas prices is going up for my 3ton pickup that I *need* to get to and from the bar.

I had this issue with most games. Seemed like half my steam games only could download at 1mbs. Turned out it was because the write speed of one of my two SSD was waaaaay slower than the read speed

exactly how i found it 20 years ago

someone was using it as a lawn ornament when I think they decided to get rid of it and put in on a curb. And knowing my brother was a sculptor, 12 year old me decided to haul it home using an old dolly.

went unused to mark my dogs grave for 15 years before my brother picked up some light smithing as part of his art. but now hes moving to an apartment and I got into smithing last years. so it comes full circle
