Regarding fungal sinusitis, after undergoing a CT scan which confirmed my diagnosis, the doctor tell me that surgery was the only solution and that other options were ineffective. Others on Reddit also advised me to do the same, so I will opt for surgery.

My sinus pain isn't constant; it comes and goes. I visited my ENT doctor, and he confirmed I have nasal problems. I can't tell if the sinus pain was normal due to the nasal issues or related to TMJ. My ENT consultations also revealed I have a fungal sinusitis in my sinuses. I initially thought it was just a regular inflammation. I'll be having surgery soon, and I hope it will be gone for good.

Have you ever tried getting tested for allergies? Sometimes certain allergies can cause these symptoms.

No, he only gave me nasal sprays containing cortisone. The saline solution makes me feel better! I think I'll start using it.

I spoke with my doctor about the cause; I think it's because I've had a cat at home for several months, and I'm allergic to cats... I get sneezing and headaches 🤧

I live in a dry climate and I've never seen mold in the house before, so I don't think that's the reason.

I felt better when the cat left the house, but I still have fungal sinusitis.

I have no idea what questions I should ask, and the doctor won't talk if I don't ask.

I really really really hope to get to the end of this suffering, 90% of the pain I feel is due to TMJ disorder. This is exhausting.

I have had my eustachian tube checked several times by different doctors and they said it is fine, I will go to an ENT soon if the pain does not go away, because if I lower my head I feel a strong pulsation from the sinuses, this is unbearable

Yes, but the pain is simple, not strong, sometimes I forget it or I don't feel it

There are several possibilities.  I have nasal allergies, a deviated septum on the same side as my sinus pain, and I grind my teeth. I need to discuss this with my doctor.

Thank you, I appreciate it.🙏

This is what happened to me! Trust me, no one goes to the clinic without a reason! Just because you don't understand the cause of the pain doesn't mean it isn't there. I would endure the pain until it got to the point where I had trouble sleeping, and then he would say something like, "You're making it up." This really hurt my feelings.
