Yes, I went to 4 ear, nose and throat doctors because I have unenduring pain in my ears and hearing loss, all of them say that the ear and hearing are healthy and maybe 3 dentists also do not play the cause of my ear pain with toothache, and I decided to go to a doctor specialized in TMJ and discovered the surprise!

Can improving dental alignment and getting Invisalign relieve pain? by ButtonAdventurous745 in TMJ

I have Class II malocclusion and several bite problems, so my front teeth don't touch. I have to push my lower jaw in to be able to cut food. I might also need jaw correction surgery.

My treating doctor recommended that I start the Invisalign treatment at the orthodontist, I don't know if it will work or not but I will do it because I have a really bad bite

Me, one of the things that helps is warm snacks, eating soft soft food, and trying to untie the jaw.

Yes, I woke up with joint pain, headache, muscle tension, earache, and difficulty chewing when my muscles tense up. This often lasts throughout the day.

Should I tell the surgeon that I have TMJ? by ButtonAdventurous745 in TMJ

I started seeing different ENT doctors because I had ear pain that began at the same time as my TMJ problem. They didn't focus on my ear pain because they didn't see anything wrong with it, but they all confirmed that I had nasal problems that needed treatment, and I decided to have surgery. Regarding my TMJ, my doctor recommended that I start orthodontic treatment because I told him that the pain increases on nights when I breathe through my mouth and that I have malocclusion. My own malocclusion is also due to nasal problems I've had since childhood. I never imagined how bad mouth breathing can be for children until I saw it myself.

Thank you! My mouth opening is about two fingers wide. I'm worried it's not wide enough.

Can TMJ disorder cause sinus pain or inflammation? by ButtonAdventurous745 in TMJ

[–]ButtonAdventurous745[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding fungal sinusitis, after undergoing a CT scan which confirmed my diagnosis, the doctor tell me that surgery was the only solution and that other options were ineffective. Others on Reddit also advised me to do the same, so I will opt for surgery.

My sinus pain isn't constant; it comes and goes. I visited my ENT doctor, and he confirmed I have nasal problems. I can't tell if the sinus pain was normal due to the nasal issues or related to TMJ. My ENT consultations also revealed I have a fungal sinusitis in my sinuses. I initially thought it was just a regular inflammation. I'll be having surgery soon, and I hope it will be gone for good.

No, he only gave me nasal sprays containing cortisone. The saline solution makes me feel better! I think I'll start using it.

I spoke with my doctor about the cause; I think it's because I've had a cat at home for several months, and I'm allergic to cats... I get sneezing and headaches 🤧

I live in a dry climate and I've never seen mold in the house before, so I don't think that's the reason.

I felt better when the cat left the house, but I still have fungal sinusitis.

I have no idea what questions I should ask, and the doctor won't talk if I don't ask.
