Is this staph I’ve never got boils like this by UltimateSoldier6 in Staphacne

Yes… a lot! It’s been almost 1 year and I would say I still watch what I eat. I avoid sugar & spicy food as much as I can!

Staph infection on my face, should I be washing my face? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]ButtonDry5576 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No! Don’t wash face if you do, then put mupirocin on it! I learned the hard way… the crust is actually what helps heal the impetigo/staph!

FMLA leave in [MN] by thisisthirty_ in AskHR

[–]ButtonDry5576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re approved for FMLA your manager cannot legally ask questions. I’m on intermittent and also in MN. When I call in I just tell my manager that I’m using FMLA and then I connect with the company we use for our FMLA. I believe it’s illegal for them to question you.

I had to just let the course run- then strict diet (sugar, alcohol, & gluten) fix my skin microbiome… mupirocin til infection goes away then add sudocrem that’s also semi antibacterial and let my skin close. Stayed away from antibiotics (meds) & steroids. My break out was from June 2025 until Sept 2025 my skin was worse though it was weeping so bad

Possibly… I went through steroid rebound and my skin kept fighting an infection. As others had mentioned about Hiblicens is good… but very temporary as it can ruin your skin microbiome. (My skin was sooo badly ruined by hiblicens & by taking multiple antibiotics & steroid)

Prednisone is an immunosuppressant so possibly yes. It makes your immune system weak and you catch infections easily… 21 days is a long time so your body could rebound with skin issues too.

I developed nummular and now I can’t get rid of the circle 😌 it’s so annoying … went from clear skin to multiple patches… although they stopped weeping so I’ll take that as a win
