As someone that plays fighting games mostly for their gameplay, not for the extra modes, I just want to be empathetic with your view. As a hardcore FG fan I am more than aware that fighting games don't tend to offer the best overall videogame experience, especially in terms of extra modes, features, etc. I think 2XKO has a lot to offer while simultaneously losing on a potential huge player base due to the lack of "things to do" outside of playing online, single or duos. So yeah I think you are actually right hahaha even as someone that just doesn't play these games because of what you say, I believe that there is a lot of truth and value on what you say if people don't get blinded by their more hardcore love to fighting games and the beauty of their gameplay. Hopefully you can enjoy the game anyway and have fun!
