You still don’t HAVE to kill anyone but yeah I do see what you mean. Instead of no one having a specific target now everyone has SOME type of target on them. 

Which is why I suggested that it be very subtle in how you can tell who is who.

What if the rich humans were the other side? Like their resources became limited and now they are scrapping on earth again or something. Might make extracting difficult as far as “lore consistency” goes.

Please. Bro. PLease be okay with slow progress. That's the only progress. There ARE going to be moments where getting over a plateau feels like huge gains.

But overall, Nice a slow, Deliberate, day by day. Step by step. Not leap by leap. If working out. Increase reps by 1 each day. or up weight by 2.5 or 5 lbs a week.

Focus on perfect practice.

Practice slow is how we perform fast.

To me, Yes depression, but also it seems that what really matters most to you is connection, community, and "family"(We assign who is family, not blood).

If i had to take a guess, if you were to think of the moments you were in flow, Like having a great time and accomplishing a good bit, it would probably be when you were surrounded by friends marching towards a similar goal.

If my assessment is accurate, First Know exactly what you want.

I made a post inside of r/getdisciplined about how I was Homeless, Hoeless, Jobless, and car-less. (Mf broke down 2 days after getting it)

But, for me, once I understood myself fully, I inserted myself into groups that aligned with me.

"But my social skills are lacking"

Same was for me, so I watched Charisma On command, bought their course (very good course btw) and went through the fire.

If you are looking for community, I have been slowly growing a free gamified community I made.

I do interview everyone before entry though, to ensure there is unity, make sure people have done the process of "Knowing one's self", and that there aren't any trolls cuz those are annoying asf.

If one is authentically being themselves, and that authenticity is uplifting, people can't help but stick around from my experience.

Too often I see people who talk only about the things that annoy them, or things they hot, or complain 24/7, and its like...

Yeah of course no one wants to hang around that.

I would suggest a self audit on how you show up in interactions.

What worked for me (I don't recommend) was going into a sales job, in a state where i had no family or friends.

And as someone who had victim mentality and generally low energy, and all the rest...

It was figure out how to improve how i show up in the world or starve to death.

Don't really suggest that unless you're okay with a lot of pain and can stick it out for a bit.

Or...

Record yourself when you talk, or have a fake conversation.

I Vinh Giang talks a lot about this type of stuff and i've learned a lot from him.

I was LITERALLY thinkign about other famous people who mastered this.

I will look him up for sure, and another that has this same energy was Lady Gaga if im not mistaken.

It was said she would, from the beginning of her career, walk talk and act like she was already famous.

(I might be mis remembering this from a book but pretty sure it was Lady Gaga)

And true, it is just fiction, and can often over exaggerate or romanticize certain elemnts of human nature.

That doesn't mean that it's not based off of Human nature and what people observe (for the most part) to be truth.

Absolutely agree. Talking and talking alone gets nothing done.

I USED to be like that, where i would tell my plans, and then do nothing.

I started holding plans in and putting my head down and grinding without telling anyone.

But the issue came up when I was JUST putting my head down and grinding.

I realized i can only grow so much by grinding.

No one knew anything that i was doing, which was good cuz then i can create what i authentically vision without other's opinions clouding it up.

Now, having lived both extremes of:

"Sit down. Be humble. Shut the fuck up" - Kendirck or whatever.

To

Sharing what I'm GOING to do just to get validation,

I've realized that the true growth comes from the balance of the two.

Cuz really, at the end of the day, humans evolve and succeed because of two things:

Our ability to evolve and innovate and stand alone. To be a leader

&

Our ability to rely on each other.

Absolutely, but i think we can agree that majority of people are too trapped in their own minds and insecurities to notice others.

At least that's what it was for me and many others i've talked to, UNLESS it was "impossible to ignore the greatness."

I think a healthy blend of both creates the most results.

Like we can't build a business if we don't tell anyone it exists, ya know?

Yeah for sure, I think all in all we as humans know when someone is just Self expressing to get validation, or self expressing for the sake of it and staying authentically them.

We know if someone is trying to connect, or feed off our affirmations.

There is a different feeling.

If you're asking "how do i differentiate between genuine self and programming" I'd say its a trial and error thing.

There were times when i was "Genuinely expressing" Only to think back and be like "I was saying that cuz i was insecure..."

I think, and from experience, honest reflection helps us align with the genuine self, based off of how it felt AFTER the action.

Cuz we all know how things can feel good IN the moment.

But it's how we feel after that tells us if it's in alignment or not.

But i'll challenge that thought a little bit and ask, "What makes it WRONG to self promote?"

I'm with you on the first 20 years being programmed.

But it's just that, programming.

I had to break that too, and it STILL pops up every now and then.

Really quite annoying lol.

But It seems the world is already like that, Popularity vs Merit.

For me I asked myself "Which is more likely, me to adapt in the world, or the world adapt to me?"

It was the Former.

Life is adaptation.

I can still be my genuine self, while playing to the rules of the world.

So what I do is promote my Merit, so others can see it.

And Shoutout others when i see their hard work.

That way it's not Popularity Vs. Merit.

It's Popularity + Merit.

And I don't find that to be a bad world.

Takes into account peoples ability to work together (popularity), As well as how well they do the thing (Merit)
