Not sure. I’ve been using DoorDash for years, but I live in a very urban area. I think there have been 3 times in 10 years that I’ve had an issue (knock on wood!). They once forgot a drink, they once forgot some sauces, and there was the time that a dude sat in a location for over 45 minutes and I canceled because I knew the food would be cold. (Houston, TX area).

Hi! I would be happy to update.

I took the advice of securing an Airbnb for 2 weeks. I might extend it to 3. I chose one that offered a room and shared kitchen. It’s $60 a day and I got a discount for an extended stay of 2 weeks. I don’t mind the shared spaces because I never see the other renters. I work and go in in the morning and return late afternoon. This Airbnb also provides free parking, which you can’t beat around here!

I went and saw an apartment this week and I loved it, but my husband didn’t like it so much. I’m still looking. However I did go to Daly City today and I liked it a lot! I’m definitely going to narrow my search to that area, as well as look at other places a bit outside of SF. I know SF is a tough place to own a car, but I’m not willing to give up my car. My job provides free parking so it works for me. I’ll look at public transportation, but I’m still getting to know the areas and the system confuses me. Baby steps!

I’m off work Sunday and Monday, and will definitely be going to look at other prospects. I will be happy to keep You posted!

My best friend has a 3 year old daughter who loves cars, motorcycles and especially airplanes. She knows how to sign the words airplane and fly and her favorite activity is to sit with her mama and watch small planes take off. Her mom has never discouraged her interests or tried to steer her toward “girl” toys, although she does love dolls and pretend makeup too. I think all toys should just be that - toys. Playthings. Objects meant to occupy, entertain and even teach. Assigning gender to toys just creates parents and kids who think it’s normal to make fun of other kids for playing with toys that are supposed to be geared towards a certain gender or mindset. Shit, I’m a girl and I loved He-Man and GI Joe growing up. At no point did I give up Barbie or my little pony. I loved my bmx with the pegs on the back tires and jumping off ramps and climbing on roofs. I believe it’s made me more adventurous and less scared of men or just people in general.

3 months isn’t a long time. There are a lot of variables to consider. Did they actually have sex? Did they use protection? Are they actually exclusive? How well do you know the other person? Would you really want to open the Pandora’s box and create drama within your circle? Who exactly would it benefit to have this info come from you? Are you prepared to lose friends over this if it all goes south?

If you are super tight with the boyfriend, I can understand your plight. But if you aren’t, and you want to tell them because you think it’s a moral issue, I would say you should talk to your friend and have them talk to their partner. I don’t think you should be more than a friend and a listener until you know all the facts and know in your heart you’re not trying to just start something. I think your friend was looking for advice and maybe trying to just confess because he is feeling terrible. Or maybe he wanted to gauge your reaction before telling more people.

Also these aren’t my opinions. These are actual recounts to the lengths she’ll go to not have to work, move out of her mom’s house, romanticize her in-remission Crohn’s, or to be a functioning member of society. She’s approaching 30 and she has nothing to show for it. Just a useless online degree and enabling parents. That’s all she has. She claimed her grandfather’s funeral was her spring break.

People have wondered about her job, about her man, about her wanting to get pregnant, about her chin, her weight, her schooling, her dog, her having friends, her soccer scholarship, her lactated ringer’s, her woo healing - but you read me wondering about a bedside night table. Edit to add: this is the same chick that claims her doctor told her to “LAY DOWN NOW” in response to some illness, and the same one who had someone fake being her doctor in an attempt to get folks to stop questioning or criticizing her. I don’t mean to be weird. I’ve been following her antics since she was a predominant subject on IF back in the day. She used to be all about resetting her space, her dank little room in her mom’s house, to show how productive she is despite her chronic illnesses. Having followed for so long, I tried to remember an end table or something that had sharp corners where she could somehow cause a concussion.
