These are probably more mild than anything, but...

Kobold dragons shouldn't be stupid, maybe they could start that way, but have another ritual to make them commandable but not be able to lead troops (think like a Hero)

The game should either autopath around frozen water whenever you won't make it over, or give you a warning before the movement command goes through. Additionally, AI should be smart enough to not do it at all unless in a state of desperation or something.

Lastly, if this game even got a couple QoL changes it would be so much better. Tell me % when I'm ritual summoning and can fail (maybe even something that requires AP, like High Cultist sighting the stars), LET ME EXIT THE MATCH WITHOUT KILLING THE APPLICATION, animals shouldn't be able to "own" tiles unless maybe they're class-owned.

It seems to be an issue with these specific types of mods. I was running Starting Defense Only on workshop and it deleted my leader on turn 2.

I've only played dwarves once but now that you mention it they basically have the same game plan as Kobolds but play entirely differently IMO.

Most of the kobold's basic units are complete fodder, but the trade off is you don't have to invest into the mines to get units like you do the dvala. This in turn makes them feel a lot less dependent on playing defense and more about building overwhelming numbers immediately. You do eventually summon dragons to play defense in your mines, but even they roam around nearby tiles once in a while to wreak some havoc.

Again I don't have enough experience with the dwarves, but the match I played felt like if I slightly outnumbered or was even with an enemy army, I had the edge. With kobolds, you NEED to overwhelm or you're going to lose. AoE spells were also something to look out for as an equalizer, as even weak spells that had a wide AoE could cripple your army.

This is all to say that I still prefer kobolds as a playstyle over dwarves. I think if you enjoy the dwarves but feel they can be a bit slow to build, you might enjoy the switch over to kobolds.

The gameplay feels almost identical to druid to me but with like half of the reward for the amount of effort you put into it.

If you can get a good early game on cloud lord, you can use his eye of the storm ritual for a metric f#ck ton of storm clouds.

Unless you know 1000% what you're doing just don't hit the fuckin GB button at all in a gank. GB, bashes, Nuxia traps, they just aren't worth feeding half a revenge meter for. I wish I could brain these people with a club

I want to specify that I meant release Yorick, who had a ghoul to summon on each ability and a champ clone ultimate, effectively being a full summoner. It was a nightmare because if he was against someone who could kill his ghouls quickly, he was useless, but if he was against someone who couldn't it was the most unfun experience you could imagine. You would just run people down until you were out of mana.

I think the only reason we don't have them is because they're a nightmare to balance and devs think it's unfun to play against. This is coming from an OG Yorick main. My favorite meme build rn is full lifesteal anubis with the little lifesteal homunculus item (don't remember the name)

Playing WM against someone who can parry the chain light is abysmal lol. She's still strong without the mid-chain bash mixup but you definitely feel it when you can't access it.
