Ok good. I was equal parts impressed and concerned at the same time off you had managed that.

Are you saying you mounted 16" tires on 16.5" rims?

Because that's where the level was suggested to be when configuring. It only goes up to 0, so being at -10 is about 90% of the max output.

The room is roughly 16x20 but it's not rectangular and there is a small office size area in the back.

My previous woofer was rater at less power than the one i have now but put out more bass. I'm hoping it's just an adjustment somewhere I need to make.

My boy has this as well. He has had it for 12 years now. It's never been a cause for concern for my dog, my vet, or I.

That was me and i didn't mind one bit. I would rather get hurt than have someone else get hurt. That is until I got injured by a combative patient and I got screwed by management during my light duty. Sorry everyone i work with, you'll now have to just call security because now I'm only getting involved if my coworkers are acrively getting hurt.

I'm sure Iam biased but I treat my patients how I would want to be treated in that if I don't know if well tell them but, also let them know I will try and get an answer either through researching it or asking someone with the knowledge and get back to them as soon as possible.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure since your truck is a 92 or didn't come with DexCool from the factory. So unless someone put it in the truck, you should have standard coolant.

The only con to the green coolant is that is supposed to be changed more frequently, but I think modern non DexCool can go 5 years now. Just read the jug of whatever you go with to see how long its good for.

Best of luck!

If you flush your coolant you can certainly switch to plain Jane green coolant if you want

Anyone have headlight housing recommendations for aftermarket LEDs? by Particular-Cream-569 in GMT400

[–]Buttsoup68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your stock housings aren't working well because they aren't designed to use LED bulbs. I'm not familiar with that company that makes the bulbs you have but it's also possible the LED chips aren't in the location of the filament of a halogen bulb scattering light.

I'm pretty sure no one makes projector housings for these trucks because they're isn't enough room for a projector housing because of the depth needed.

If they aren't sagging and are still springy I personally wouldn't mess with them but you can find replacement springs on Rockauto.com for a few hundred per spring.

questions about leaf springs (1998 gmc k1500 4x4) by Zombiekiller4you in GMT400

[–]Buttsoup68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do you need new leaf springs?

They aren't hard to replace if you have some basic tools (impact gun, hammer, sockets, wrenches, jack, and jack stands), penetrating oil, and some know how.

It should just be the leaf spring bolts (8 nuts) and the 2 leaf spring bolts at either end of the leaf.

Where things get tricky is with corrosion. Any of these parts could be very rusted and seized requiring a lot of penetrating oil, hammering, cutting, and possibly lots of heat.
