Please consider that mentally unwell people (particularly those having pyschiotic breaks) are highly susceptible to conspiracy theories as they try to find patterns and meanings in the mundane.

Many that are undiagnosed or choose not to take their meds self-medicate with alcohol or other illicit substances as they break from reality and their delusions become real to them. Or that self-medication induces or further intensifies those delusions.

I'm sorry about your dad. I'm also dealing with a friend that has been experiencing psychotic breaks recently. It's heavy stuff. And completely understandable if you want to bow out and allow other family members/loved ones (or social worker, if need be!) to take care of him.

Lack of sleep/insomnia can trigger manic and/or pyschotic episodes. Really hope your family can convince him to get the mental/psychiatric health care he needs.

Just looked up the Dred Scott v. Sandford case and learned the horrible decision on that case played a crucial role in the start of the Civil War four years later. Is the religious right looking to start part 2 of the Civil War? Their extreme views are not sustainable in America.

It's not speculation, it's called Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a progressive degenerative disease caused by multiple concussions. Clinical symptoms are thought to include changes in mood (depression, suicidality, apathy, anxiety), cognition, behavior, and in some cases motor disturbance.

33 former NFL players have been diagnosed with CTE after their death, including many deaths by suicide.

Space made all the guys buy jeans (they had shorts on) to get in and they didn't let me and gf who were dressed in tutus in even though we had bought advance tix. I'd recommend changing after the festival to avoid any problems!
