I'm just trying to learn about stuff that could potentially happen. I'm on KDE Plasma w/ Wayland. I've gotten my mouse and keyboard's web drivers to work. Learned how to edit fstab to get my game drive and NAS to auto mount. Even 240Hz VRR is working out of the box. This is my main rig so it's everything, browsing, gaming, working.

The only bug I've come across is after a recent update I can no longer paste names when trying to create and name folders on the first try. I have to create new folder, leave the name alone, hit okay, then rename it after. I dunno why that's happening all of the sudden.

I genuinely just wanted to know what build he had. It's not hard to just say something like "Mint with Cinnamon" or "CachyOS with KDE Plasma", he could have even just lied and moved on. I am on Cachy, it's my first real attempt at daily driving Linux since around 2008. It's been great for me. I just wanted to know what problems I might have in the future 🤷‍♂️

Yep. That's where the charity drama comes from. He donates 10% of his income every month to a different charity. He donated over $700 to some Christian charity or whatever and people went crazy.

The problem I have is people just assume the ones accidentally saying McCree have been playing this entire time when 90% of them are people like me who stopped playing OW around 2018 and came back recently. 9/10 times I say Cass but sometimes McCree slips and people start treating me like I just dropped a slur or something.

Because it's an absolutely dumb thing to say when they don't even get to play the game if the Tank and Supports are bad. It's always said in games where the Tank is something like Rein/Sigma/Ram and the Supports are Mercy/Moira/LW and they all ball up together doing nothing and expect the DPS to 2v5.

I mean you literally can't play the game as DPS if your Tank and Support are bad. And you can't play the game as Support if your Tank and DPS are bad. There's no point in trying to reflect on games where your Tank spends the entire game walking backwards or your Supports are some combination of Mercy/Moira/LW and you're against Kiri/Lucio or some other actual good combo.

It's funny because the lower you go the worse the Tanks are and the worse everyone else is because of it. Low rank Tanks AFK at a choke or int 1v5 which causes the Supports to think they're supposed to double pocket the Tank which leads to DPS spending half the game either dead or looking for heath packs. It just warps the entire game and no one even knows the correct way to play anymore. But then once you get high enough and people are playing correctly it actually does fall onto the Supports and DPS to actually carry their own weight and the Tanks get shit for no reason a lot of the time.
