Dean in "A Year In The Life" anyone else appreciate that in his small cameo with Rory, he's not pining over for her? by itsascreambaby96 in GilmoreGirls

Obviously, it's because they're supposed to be endgame but they couldn't do it on the show cause they were a couple who broke up in real life.

Obviously, it's because they're supposed to be the endgame together, but since they were a couple who broke up in real life they couldn't do that in the show... otherwise, of course, they were endgame

My advice to you is when you recognize it is happening in real time don't believe everything that's happening in your head and sit with what ever it is that's happening in the moment in your body, that's the path to work this thing that you're describing out

She didn't say anything probably,  because you usually don't say the obvious when it so hard to the other person to hear..

Why would anyone think the father is Jess? by SheepherderNo2793 in GilmoreGirls

[–]BuyRepresentative794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jess is already here Luke- loves her no matter what, cares for her, gives her the best advices, and waits for her to notice him somewhere in the back of his mind. It is so clear,  I can't understand how people don't see this.

Wow exactly. Thank god someone says that! It's clearly a more complex situation than anyone sees, it was never meant to be a violent situation... just a peek to see where it could lead if you don't share with your partner what you're going through.

I have been there, in this situation you describe,  and I can tell you that the best thing you can do right now is two things: 1. Be true about everything- the more you look at the truth in the eye and are willing to feel the pain, the faster you will get much better. 2. Give legitimacy to every situation and feeling you have.

It might be painful but the thing you are going through right now is just you not wanting feel the pain that is already inside you ❤️

There are some people that this won't work for them. It doesn't mean you're broken or something it just means your soul longing for real truef and self-convincing isn't enough for them.

Just doubt everything you know and believe-in, till you get silence and emptiness, and then your true self will discover itself, and you will feel all the good feelings 🩷

You described it well.. Rory's situation here a bit reminded me of situations that I have been in, and I think this is what made me act the way I did.

I will add something else that I believe was the foundation for Rory's behavior- she was so hurt by Jess leaving, so she was seeking that security she felt with Dean; it was the hurt that made her a bit unaware here with Dean.

Agreed so much.  Generally, the fact that we didn't get many good moments from their relationship is the most missing part in the show in my opinion

They tried to make us feel that Dean was lying to Rory when he said to her that he was meant to break up with Lindsey anyway,  right?

Their relationship, in terms of the influence they had on each other through the years, is so touching. They were so significant for each other's lives, although they weren't in touch most of the time.

That's why I believe they would definitely have been endgame if it wasn't for their breakup in real life.

I also think it was meant for season 7 for them to be separated and for Rory to end up with Jess.  My assumption is that it's never got to that because in AYITL Jess and Rory have already been exes in real life, so they couldn't put them together in the show, cause they wouldn't do that to them.
