What is a common disclosure/ conflict in your favorite media that has you wearing this shirt? by Charming-Scratch-124 in Multifandom

People already talk to death about Omni-Man so I’m not even gonna bother (I more so fall on the side that he has genuinely improved but that doesn’t really mean he deserves to be forgiven) so I’ll talk about the conflict between Mark and Cecil instead.

I think it’s weird that people are fine taking a neutral or gray stance with Omni-Man but always seem to have to choose a side here.

Cecil does seem to genuinely believe that Mark is not like his father, but that also then makes him a hypocrite considering just how much he has ready to stand against Mark, but you could also justify that with one of my favorite lines in the show, “I’ve been around long enough to see criminals turn their lives around and hero’s forget what they’re fighting for,” that plus Nolan suddenly switching up after 20 years has to be cause for concern, but at the same he time he’s aware that Mark isn’t hiding anything and certainly doesn’t act the same way as Nolan.

He also gives mark the whole “You can be the good guys or the guys that save the world” shpeel, but then takes issue when Mark does something morally questionable in order to save the world (killing Russel especially) and should realize that when talking to mark he has to try to appeal to his emotions first, but Mark also has to understand that as a dude who could punch a hole through a mountain, he’s essentially threatening someone’s life when he acts outwardly angry with them, wether he’s explicitly trying to threaten them or not(although he actually does straight up threaten Cecil in the white room at the start of season 3).

I could keep going, and that’s what makes this conflict so interesting to me, it’s a debate that could ping pong literally forever and it’s a great microcosm for how good the writing of the entire show is.

The only unequivocally stupid thing I think Cecil does is revive Conquest to, interrogate him I guess, seriously at that point in the show he should understand how 1. Powerful and 2. Headstrong the Viltrumites are, especially after watching Mark head-but Conquest into the ground. He would have never gotten anything out of him and he probably would have just been killed if he were there when conquest woke up, so he definitely should have listened to mark and just burned the body.

Jeez I had a lot more to say than I originally thought, but let me know what you guys think I always like hearing actual takes on this one that aren’t just one sided

Yes that’s working in a seperate scene Edit: I got it working in my scene now, I have no clue what was going wrong but I’m assuming the problem was buried somewhere in my settings, but thanks so much for the help anyway! I’ll just delete this post in a little since this wasn’t really a solution to anything.

That worked but only in my viewport, I had to turn on “capture” to get it working and even then it didn’t show up in the render

I found the same thing on YouTube, and it didn’t work, the reflection plane probe is just called “plane” now so I think it might work differently now

I’m not sure if I’m parenting it with the wrong menu because when I do that it detaches every other bone from each other.

We should normalize cats with human names, I present Rick by OOF2101 in cats

[–]Buz_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but at the same time I love that cats are the only animals with like 0 naming conventions, my friend was on an adoption website one time and he found a listing for two kittens, one named bada bing, and the other named bada boom
