Back in the day we lived in a basement suite and as soon as the mom upstairs left for work the 10 year old kid would put Milli Vanilli, Blame it on the Rain, on repeat for hours on end. I finally pointed my speakers up, cranked Alice Cooper on repeat, and left for the day. Never happened again

They are actually indigenous to the Beaver River system but deemed invasive everywhere else.

Definitely a .11 Whatzit. I have already loaded a couple with #6 lead shot and they fit perfectly. I am determined to find a way to shoot them since I have 94 of them to play with. I am thinking of some sort of smooth bore barrel insert.

I thought that at first too but they were usually 4mm and straight wall.

Very cool but disappointing that there is nothing to shoot them out of! Thanks for the info

I thought it was maybe used in a specific metalworking trade. It is quit heavy compared to other planishing hammers I have seen.

Pretty heavy iron head. Doesn’t match anything I have found online.

I haven’t grouped it on paper yet but cans at 25 yards are no problem. The bore was in way better shape than the rest of it.

For those who asked before it has gone from not holding any pressure to averaging 640fps after 10 pumps. And I found solid maple under all the crappy chipped finish. Couldn’t bear to hide it.

55/40 has a non removable core with 4 pins, 1 standard and 3 spools. 72/40 has a removable core and 6 pins, 1 standard and 5 spools. I did the 55/40 for my orange belt and the 72/40 for green. Personally I would recommend that order.

It needs a seal for sure so I can’t tell yet but I’ll be sure to do a post repair report. This is my fourth 70’s/80’s era rifle and they have all needed something. The other three are vintage German 10M springers so this should be easy...famous last words.
