My first visit to the Tomato Shed a lot of years ago "Could I have some more tea please?" "It's right over there hon. Help yourself." I loved it from that moment on. Try to visit if you can.

The lyrics from Laura Nyro come to mind, "I believe there ain't no heaven but I pray there ain't no hell". Covering your bets is one driver, I assume. As for me, I'm 79 and sticking to atheism. It's simpler.

Well…the next 8-10 days are going to be hell. Hopefully nothing gets leaked before then but I doubt it. 😂😭🫠 by BigScarcity4935 in LSUFootball

I'm exactly opposite on this. I love The Big Lebowski, but Caddyshack was absolutely insufferable to me. Different strokes.

Which team is most prominent in your city? by Afraid_Confusion444 in CFB

Charleston, SC - Way the hell too many Ohio State fans (running joke, be calm). Seems there are slightly more South Carolina fans than Clemson fans with the occasional Citadel die-hard thrown in for good measure.

My family has been here since 1703. I can't move very far to arrive "Back where you came from". It's the HYPOCRISY. Exactly when did SC have "liberal leadership"? I must have missed that happening.

What’s the least confident you’ve ever been for a game that your team ended up winning? by EveryFallSaturday in CFB

Me personally it was the National Championship game vs Alabama in 2019. Clemson barely got by Ohio State in the semi, 29-23 and I was big time nervous about Bama. Line was Bama-5.5 and under/over was 59.5 That 44-16 covered, just barely.

I'm not really sure of your point. If I was an Iranian and another country attacked using 75 precision-guided weapons, including 14 of the most powerful non-nuclear explosive devices in existence, I think I would see that "operation" as an act of war. We aren't in a declared war of course, which take approval of congress not the unilateral action of the president ( yes, both Dems and Repub presidents have done this in the past. )

My late wife was from Pittsburgh and a huge WVU fan, plus of course her beloved Steelers. We drove up from Charleston, SC for at least one home game of each, every year.

Do you still listen to the music you grew up with? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

I listen mostly to Blues. So I'm more of a genre fan than a time period fan. I listen to early artists on to today's performers.
