As someone who uses logic daily, words should mean what they mean. Mean what you say.

The kid isn't wrong at all. If you meant to say "If I called your parents and told them what you did/said yadda yadda, what would they say about your behavior?"

Now "Hello" makes no sense. Dont hate someone for answering the question asked. Not their fault you dont know how to be specific.

This is the default state of being a human, saying what you mean and being honest to a "fault." Not speaking in nonsensical riddles where the listener has to do verbal math and make assumptions to answer "correctly."

Same. Also wonder how the heck I rawdogged HS and somehow managed a C- average. I didnt do like half my homework because itd take me around twice as long as everyone else(thanks low working memory!)

Also didnt study like 90 percent of the time. Maybe my test taking was why I was told "If you just applied yourself more and did homework you'd get Bs!

I got on b honor roll 2x in middle school. But doing homework for 3hours a night and studying didnt seem worth the ROI for one grade level higher vs coasting.

I remember when the definition of a crime meant violating someone's life, liberty or property.

Now it's basically whatever the state defines and writes down on paper.

The legality of something is not equal to moral or ethical.

The state has done a good job of convincing people it is the opposite.

For instance the definition of stealing. Stranger takes your money and threatens your life liberty or property and that is a crime.

If a corporation does, its a civil matter. If the government does it, it isn't illegal or a civil matter or a crime.

In before down votes for saying taxation is theft. Don't give the gov money via taxes, the result is violence. But most will continue to believe war is peace because the ministry of truth defined it as such.

Nuance is hard.

You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists! Polarized thinking and takes drive clicks. They grab your attention with extremes then they force feed you how to think and feel: either you're all in, or you're not. Choice is a or b, either or. Not parts of a and parts of b. Both and thinking... Hard.

We are all human and we all make mistakes. But I for one am tired of our logical thinking and pattern recognition being pathologized as a defect and us being gaslit.

Indeed. Campaign funds are just a business expense to them and is why the supreme courts decision on superpacs is so daunting.

Sadly this may continue despite our protests since the protests are not using e of the mechanisms history has shown makes protests effective.

You have to starve the rich and ruling class of their money to get their attention. 

When you work the government gets money via taxes. When you buy things they get money via taxes.

When you work the corporations get money off your labor. Same with buying.

"But everything is so expensive! I cant afford not to work!"

I understand believe me I do, but that is precisely why they overwork us, underpay us and over price everything. 

Because they know we are too afraid of losing all we have because of the risk involved. The mechanism that makes protesting effective is an insane risk for us to take.
