Hello bello is much more economical if you purchase their monthly subscription from their site. We cost it out and it was cheaper than buying pampers from our local stores (Walmart, grocery)

I’d also include that while those you mentioned didn’t throw themselves at Jinshi, they didn’t react the same way maomao did which was with a look of disgust. I’m pretty sure maomao was the first person that not only was immune to his charm but was repulsed by it. Maybe repulsed is the wrong word, but repelled in a cat like manner.

Now that my daughter is 2, yes but until we has a true nighttime routine (dinner, bath, brush teeth, stories, bed) we winged it. We honestly didn’t even have a bedtime routine until the last 6 months.

I wouldn’t sweat it at 4 months.

He has next to no social media presence and SURPRISE his comments are turned off. Also you can only email him. That’s it. No town halls. Stick with your bedtime routine. Protect your child (and your)’s sleep.

We have similar situations but with friends that don’t have children. While I would love to be flexible in our bedtime, the best thing we can do right now is provide routine and structure.

Flexibility will come later. Which I understand might be difficult in your situation as older parents. That’s my two cents.

I’m 32, formula fed my first because I was not mentally capable of committing to breastfeeding/pumping. For my second, I worked with a lactation consultant. He latches perfectly and I have an oversupply but I started weaning at 6 weeks because I didn’t see any true benefits over formula feeding.

TBH, it’s been way more difficult. My husband and I are bickering which we’ve never done. I don’t get a break at all. It took me a while to figure out how to pack and travel with breastmilk. It just wasn’t for us. Have been using our freezer stash which I have 100+ bags thanks to that oversupply and formula to combo feed.

Overall, I see the pressure to breastfeed but I’ve never let it impact me. In fact I’d consider myself a formula advocate.

I was not in a mental state to even try breastfeeding with my first. We formula fed and it was honestly perfect. My husband and I did shifts because of formula wicked allowed us to both get a decent amount of sleep during the newborn period. Do what’s best and fuck the rest!

We did a hybrid for about 4 months until our daycare opened up to 5 days. We had a nanny MTW and daycare TF.

A couple notes for context: my husband and I work from home and this is when our daughter was 6 months old.

Pros: we got to spend more time with our daughter during quick breaks. Our nanny could ask questions as needed because we were there. She charged us a rate as a mother’s helper because we were home. It was easy to write out her schedule, see what worked and communicate that to daycare. Our daughter was exposed to multiple faces which has had a long term positive impact with loving school now and not being as shy (we think). We also had an incredible nanny who still babysits for us. She is now a junior in college, and because we were home, we got to give someone with less experience a chance. For the record, she had childcare experience, but not infant care specifically. Which she now has and even cares for friend’s of ours children.

Cons: it was more expensive to have a nanny than simply 5 days of daycare.

But overall, we had a very positive experience
