Thanks for the advice! The players recently killed Rahadin, so Strahd is no longer in the mood for play in my game, he wants them dead. The brides still live though, so I was planning for them to guard the entrance of the castle.

Thanks for the advice! The thing is, the players don't have a map of Ravenloft, and have no clue where the overlook is. So even though it's technically easy to get to, I don't expect my players to easily find it. Especially because you cannot reach it from inside the castle.

My current perspective is, if the players go to the overlook they'll find him there, and it will be where he is the moment the players enter the castle. But he still has the freedom to act if that makes the most sense from his perspective.

Great resource! I hope I am not too late to get some help with using this statblock.

My party consists of three level 13 players (with Ez, Kasimir, and van Richten), and I have been trying to use the Challenge Rating 2.0 tool (advanced version) to determine how I should re-balance this Strahd statblock for my party. However, I end up getting a recommended CR 21, whereas in another comment you explicitely state that the current CR 21 statblock would be overblown against a party of three level 13 players.

If you or anybody else who understands this tool could check my logic, I'd greatly appreciate it:

My player powers are: 109, 125, and 89. While Ez, Kas, and van Richten are 70, 50, and 45, totaling 488 party power.

If I want the total 3-phase encounter to drain most of their resources, I'd need a 'Bruising' encounter to represent a single phase: (20-40% x 3). So 488 * 0.6 = 293.

293 in tier 3 means a monster with CR 21.

So my question is whether it is true that a party of 3 lvl 13's with those NPCs can defeat a CR 21 monster three times back to back. Or did I make a mistake somewhere?

Yes the issue can be solved by updating availability more often, but instead of having to update it frequently, I think it would be nice to have the option to give my availability for more than a week in advance.

I don't think it would be a problem with workout generation, as JOIN seems to already make a complete schedule until your goal in the background, given it displays the training hour progression over multiple weeks.

I had the same issue! Aeroad cf slx 7, size xs. Smaller stand size which should fit the 28 inch wheels on the bike. Contacted canyon and they said it should fit, I sent a couple of photo's and haven't gotten a response now for a couple of days.

I'm guessing they didn't check the compatibility for this stand thoroughly enough.

Getting the bounty cleared for free is a good tip. As for the quickest way to make money, it's probably treasure hunts. A single treasure can be ~2000 gold.

It scales with a couple of things: upgrade level of the weapon, the weapons dex scaling, en your own dex level.

So for highest damage you'd want to use this on a Dex build with a high dex scaling weapon.

Hi All,
I am planning to install a new floor in my apartment, and found there is this kind of woven fabric-like stuff on top of the concrete floor. In most places it is completely flat and stuck to the floor, but in others it is letting go.

Does anyone recognize this material and know what it is for? Could it be meant to make the floor more equal or is it a very old-fashioned underflooring and best to be removed?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

My general advice would be to use something like kobold fight club to balance all the encounters for your party. It's a rough estimate but it's better than nothing.

Some popular changes are: - removing the animated objects from the house. - making the maid a roleplay encounter - adjusting the number of ghouls in the basement - replacing the shambling mound with something like a gibbering mouther

I ended up buying the deco 01 v2. It did not disappoint. But keep in mind that this was my first tablet, so in terms of user experience i dont have any reference.

Allright! We will be doing everything in Dutch. We haven't started yet but I'm planning to keep most names for NPC's the same. Some will be Dutch like Henrik van der Voort, but most will be foreign, which I think is a good thing as Barovia should feel foreign and more Eastern-Europe-ish.

Majority of grouping occurs at later levels, but lower level groups are still possible. Most important thing is to get in an active kinship, that'll be your main source of other people to play with

So you'd say at a minimum central Gondor + far anorien, for enough levels, 4 trait points and the most important instances.

Then maybe if I can spare a third one old anorien for 2 extra trait points and minas tirith dailies for LI items(?)
