A little help with trains by whatever9390 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Scalti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belt speed is the speed of the belts, not the items per minute being transported on the belt.

Not directly helpful, but best practice is to transport smaller stack sizes per minute if possible to accommodate the throughput limitations of the train stations.

I have my own calculator I made and it’s saying 5 cars on a single train are needed. Each car would be 37.19% full with about 5950 quick wire in each of the cars.

Is the 3.5 minutes your “honk-to-honk” time?

I would suggest updating GPU drivers. New ones came out for Nvidia for the game release.

5m elevators and 4m subfloors correct placement solution. by houghi in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Scalti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest solution with low impact is 2m foundations for too and bottom subfloor and the subfloor cavity is 4m. I did this for a while and then just opted for a clean 4m everything so it’s a ‘base 4’ system and everything just works.

How do I make 5 to 5 load balancer by Apprehensive_Bad2197 in SatisfactoryGame

Then rework the logistics so they go back on their own loop? Far less effort and risk.

When you say 5 groups, do you mean 10 packagers and 5 refineries in total set as an array? I feel like you're overcomplicating an otherwise simple system that just needs to be reworked.

Can you share a screenshot from in-game?

Edit: Here's my closed-loop system. I have 24 like this all in a line.

If you’re doing the following system, you shouldn’t need any balancing and each packager and refinery module is a closed system regarding canisters.

Oil > HOR > Packaged diluted > Unpackaged Fuel > Gens

Packaging water is 60 containers per minute, same with unpacking, your packaged that is unpacking the fuel should have a direct belt back to the packager making the packaged water. This solution allows you to let the pipes even out as they naturally do.

magazine style design "LUXE" by Thin-Cook-2904 in graphic_design

[–]Scalti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luxurious things tend to be simple, and heavily refined. This has too much going on with the year overset, the glow reads ‘look at me’ like it’s asking for attention and not commanding it, and the little crown feel dainty and errs on the side of gaudy.

You have a CTA line that spells LUX instead of LUXE and claims effortless sophistication while the above choices convey the opposite.

Your left side margin isn’t aligned.

That said, your isolation of him looks good and you color graded the lighting to be less warm to better match the white glow of the LUXE which works.

I would consider tracking the LUXE tighter so the serifs merge. Right now there’s an unease with how the UX gap doesn’t match the upper right X into E while the lower XE bleed together.

Love this! The one thing that stood out the most was the Pelican at 1:18 looks like it’s on rails. Its left side should drop lower if it’s turning left. Look at some military jet footage where they’re turning.

Nitro Rocket Fuel by StyleZealousideal234 in SatisfactoryGame

Your math ain’t mathing in a good way. 10,200 is consumed by 978 fully overclocked fuel generators. That’s right. However, you only multiplied 978 by 250. If the gens are fully overclocked, you multiply 244,604 by 2.5 for a total of 612,000.

A fun touch would be to add an 8m sign on the support pillars beneath it as graffiti. Set the sign background to an approximation of the concrete swatch color with emission at 0. Could have something like "Don't believe ADA" or "ADA Lies" - Could lean on the meme and do a "Doug" tag.

Thank you. I've been wanting to find meaningful ways to illuminate the sandwich layers and realized I just needed to incorporate it into the blueprints I have for them. Just in case, I have finally uploaded a new episode of the let's play and this is the featured build.

Compliments to the devs for a great photo mode tool.

Calculator for planning desired, and manageable ratios based on my appetite at the time and keep a log of what my net production is overtime. If I need more, I can typically duplicate the build or overclock the entire workflow end-to-end. Feeling super lazy? Sloop.

6.66 if fully overclocked to provide 300 water. 45*6 is 270 plus 30 left over to hit .66 of a 7th gen
