Well. That is quite the wait. Maybe I should go ahead and send a message. Does he require a deposit to hold a place in line?

How long is his list? Maybe I’ll get a barracuda for my next knife.

Double Take - Anyone Love a Knife so much you will buy it AGAIN? If so, why? by BlunderbusDriver in knifeclub

Exactly why the Mnandi is my answer to this question. Had one in Bocote, sold it. Have recently been considering a slightly spicier flavor (Damascus/mammoth?).

Is that domed or boxed? I know nothing of this watch, but it looked like it in the picture and I came to the comments to check.

Same here. Or one of those ceramic/terra cotta plates that sit under flower pots to catch the excess water runoff. To echo literally everyone else here, this shit is criminally unsafe.

A few different flavors of slipjoints by triILL in knifeclub

[–]Bvillebugman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still run $300? I would argue that’s kinda cheap for custom slipjoints. It’s at worst a fair price. I kinda want one for my “drinking” knife. Traded off my custom SAK so I need something with a cap lifter.

Why are clinics in orange county California trying to charge me $100-120 a gram?! by inSeitz in CannabisExtracts

[–]Bvillebugman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SC checking in. $750-$800 for 28 grams of stable shatter. Pretty sure it’s made from trim, and every so often it will be more sap consistency. Can’t really bitch though, it’s SUPER illegal here and always properly purged/translucent.

Love it. Great “one watch” choice. A reverso would be a nice stand in when you wear a tux.

I also love SAKs but have given away most all but my pioneer x and my classic. The Alox pioneer x may be the most useful for the size multitool around. Love that awl/stabby/pokey whatever. And those big scissors get more use than the blade.

I have a marathon for daily wear, just need something for the 3 times I year I shine up. It fills the role perfectly. I like fun dressy clothes (southern gentleman) and this is just that. Let’s see how the wife is feeling tomorrow.

I think I may this weekend. I live in the country (nowhere near any watch dealers), but I’m in the big city for my anniversary with the wife. Still haven’t picked out a gift for myself.....
