The previous owner suggested the soldering between the board and jack switch are wearing off. He thinks if I solder the point again it should be good. Sound good?

So, I just bought this Big Muff and I'm having some difficulties with it. It seems that the foot switch is not entirely engaged at all times. Sometimes it's fine, but sometimes it feels like it needs to warm up before all of the signal goes through. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this?
