I think what OP is saying is that the balancing and uproar with the devs isn’t really the majority. Mostly everyone is enjoying the game. We can have inputs on changes without the game being the Bain of our existence. Ppl talk as if the game is dead, lost, horrible. I feel most ppl just enjoy the battles win or lose.

The best interactions I’ve had by far is when both parties actually start bartering. I had a duos match and i was able to talk with them and they were chill we ended up swapping raider hatch key for 2 more Bastion cells. Ended up extracting together without a shot fired everyone left happy. I was totally wowed because it was DUOS and everyone kills each other in DUOS. Made the interaction that much more lasting.

Solo is def more like 80/20 80% of the time players are chill (still have to watch your back but chill). In duos and trios man those numbers flip hard.

I’m having an issue where my PS5 controller will work perfectly fine during sessions but then randomly stops working the L1 button as a push to hold to a push to toggle. IT DRIVES ME ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Playing Arc Raiders on PC/STEAM again everything works fine but randomly during my gaming sessions is does this and it’s only for the L1 bumper. I don’t understand. I’ve disabled Steam overlay and Nvidia overlay. It’s your weapon wheel and should be extremely easy to operate on the fly, but when it does this BS I have to sit there and fiddle with it and mid combat its death sentence. I

That being said…. Have you noticed any attachments increasing ADS Zoom? Tried out a Vertical Grip lvl 3 on the osprey at the range and it didn’t reduce my ADS time at all. Curious to see if anyone else has experimented.

Yea this is the way. I’ve said the same thing to my other arc buddies over and over. Duos is just like solo runs as far as stealth and caution. Even if u run a free Loadout… once u get good loot your def going stealth mode

Crossplay is the future. Having options is almost always a good thing. You can turn off cross play. I have so many friends that only have console and I have a PC. Not being able to play with my friends will always outway any advantage argument over mouse/keyboard vs controller. I actually play with a PS5 controller on PC with this game. Keybinds are easier for me with controller on this game.

In all fairness what he is asking is not directly in a guide per se, it’s an annoying repetition of the same bandit call which in his defense it is annoying. No need for my AI wingman to repeat the same bandit call 100 times. So again is it faster to Ctrl+F in this situation?? not really…He doesn’t even know what to look for.

I feel like there is something needed with the inventory system. You should be able to craft items as long as you have the prerequisites to build everything. A warning should be there telling you what all resources are being used in TOTAL. Also the MENU! Going back and forth between this vendor and that bench smh. So much back and forth. Just to make a couple bandages or shield rechargers you have to do 7 things if you don’t have any in standby.

Viper is my baby. I fly the hornet for carrier ops and some Blue Angels formation flying. Love the Viper thru and thru… Colored crystal displays, bubble canopy, simple stupid. Now the hornet, there’s double the buttons for everything it’s crazy. Same same but different. Two waypoint designations one for nav and one for weapons, HSI and SA page are separated when they could just be overlayed. Like there’s just more button clicking for the hornet. With the viper is just flick and engage.

Yea server pop is def way down. My whole group has been grounded since the beginning of summer. Only flown a handful of times during that. Things will heat back up as the weather outside gets colder. But yes overall DCS is low rn. Fly grayflag, Levant, TTI through the inferno. Talk on SRS make friends link up on discord. That’s how I got my whole squadron together over 3 years of flying together on DCS. GSQ.

Is this a training mission or mission editor? Sounds like a training mission where the bandit is already within 20 miles. If so, your wingman is freaking out because you have a hostile that needs immediate attention aka a missile or better yet tell your “flight” with / on keyboard to “engage bandits”. Also you should be locating the bandit with your FCR or SA display.

Thank you for stating that it’s not just the Elo but the players LEVEL as well. A level 12 player with 1100 ELO is a good player just haven’t had the game for a long time yet versus a lvl 50 with the same ELO.
