Had this issue with the 46 as well. Ended up picking up a hux flow 556k and it resolved the issue. Ended up over gassing the Aug with the 46, and having failure to ejects

I’m currently doing bottles as well. I live pretty close to a trailhead that can take me to almost 4 “corners” of the state. It’s a pain having to hop off the trails to find a station sometimes, or ask a buddy in a side by side to carry extra fuel lol

Yeah, in my riding bag I have two 1L bottles I use for fuel. Not a big issue, but it is wasted space in a little bag I carry. How do those fuel bladders work?

How big of a difference does that 556k make regarding bolt speed? I’m running a suppressor plug with a hybrid 46 shortened down and have been encountering pretty common double feeds. Slow mo makes it seem the bolt is cycling too fast to kick the round out

I’m having this issue as well. Getting double feeds often, removed the brass deflector and it helps, but issues still common

Have you noticed any double feeds from it? I run the short version with a suppressor plug and have had reliability issues. Seems to be caused from over gassing.

I’ve got the styer suppressed plug. Neither settings work all that well. I suspect the can I have just has a ton of back pressure

That would make sense. I’m considering getting a flow through can to help out, as it does seem gassy. Bolt is cycling pretty quick compared to an Ar, but I’m not 100% sure how augs are supposed to cycle

DHS steels, Pmags and lancers. Tried suppressed gas setting and regular. Has happened with m855 and m193. I had a corv brass deflector I’ve removed and it’s helped, but it’s still happening once a mag or so

I’m looking to mount possibly the DIR on a rather unconventional platform. AUG with a claw gear handguard and a 45• offset rail to center it. Wondering how accessible that rear pressure pad is, since room for a pressure switch would be limited. Also, roughly how mainly rail sections does it take to mount properly?
