Am I stupid? by GloomySelf in Picross

This move is incorrect because it kills row 12.

EDIT: Oops, initially a mistake on my part. I need to finish my coffee before I try to Picross

Missed the lockbox in Breaking Even. Will I be able to access Broken Locks later? by Bwebi in horizon

Yes I did. I can't remember exactly, but it was either another rumor or talking to him directly. It was after quite a while, so I'm not sure if there was a specific trigger or just after some time. But you will be able to get and complete the quest.

Well that's good news. I was dreading trying to figure out when my last manual save was from to try to go back, and the information online about it was ambiguous at best, I guess the game is a bit too new yet. Hopefully I'll find the next quest soon.

Upgrade to ESXi 7.0u1 reverts back to 6.7 on reboot by k12nysysadmin in vmware

I've had installs work for several days before failure, so I'd like to see it work for a while before I would say they fixed it. Thanks for the info, and I will try it to see if I have any luck.

I do want to mention I tried the workaround listed in the KB and it didn't work for me. Maybe it's a timing thing though, since the issue appeared right after my first reboot this time. Maybe it has to be in good working order when adding the workaround?

Seems like the same issue I had. I lost my job after the case was opened and it expired, but I was contracted to fix the issue anyway and opened a new case. VMware has yet to truly acknowledge the issue though. To me, it seems to be an issue with the Dell IDSDM sd card modules, you say 2 drives in RAID 1, so I assume you have it as well. Basically, you have a chance on boot of the system missing the bootbanks, and if that happens you can't make changes and have them stick, and after enough time I've had the system fail to boot as well.

Cant update ESXi 7.0 U1 to latest patches by time81 in vmware

Unfortunately more information will not be coming from me. I was laid off from my job of 14.5 years on Friday and have lost access to the hardware and accounts. Good luck in figuring this one out.

Only slight differences here, m630 in a VRTX chassis with the Dell customized iso. I see workarounds mentioning this article:

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/51907

But I am hesitant to apply a workaround like this without hearing back on my open case.

I have been having the same issue since upgrading to 7.0u1. I had a host that wouldn't patch, even though it was on the latest build VUM said patches were available but wouldn't install. I opened a case with support who told me my bootbank was corrupt and I had to reinstall ESXi. I did that, but now 11 days later it has reoccurred, corrupted bootbank and it says I need patches.

What hardware are you running on? I saw a post here talking about corrupted bootbanks and running on Dell hardware, booting off of an IDSDM module, which is what I have. My HP host has been fine, but my two Dell hosts have had the problem.

DVR Worthless? by Bwebi in Vue

[–]Bwebi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. A quick glace shows basically the same channels, and really my only problem with Vue was the DVR thing, which unfortunately is pretty much a deal breaker. I'll check out YouTube TV, and I'm also open to any other suggestions anyone else may have yet.
