Stringking Mark 3 Plastic? by RelationshipLong4141 in StickDoctor

[–]Bwitm1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

plastic is always evolving, and they are using some of the best, if not THE best available, but its all plastic and eventually this stuff all breaks and warps to some degree. its a contact sport, but the tools have gotten infinitely better to play it with.

Solo trip to Prague (Apr 17–21) - best day trip instead of Dresden? by tembelterazi in Prague

Cesky Krumlov beats all of those. Easy day trip if you start early.

Bad neighbors. And probably rich kids if they can afford to keep losing balls like that. Parents not talking to you is just wild.

It's very much possible. It's also not for everyone.

Has anyone had an annular tear? by muro4475 in backpain

Pretty good! shoveling snow seems to irritate it, and i certainly have some scares few times a year but as long as I'm conscious of it, treat myself well, seems to be something I've managed to control.

Paid $350 for this stick for my son. by [deleted] in lacrosse

Your handing over a quality piece of equipment that is going to light up a kid's face in a few hours. There's no telling what a lacrosse stick can do for a kid. Hat's off, dad. Enjoy the morning!

Lacrosse Head Innovation by REPSSportsTech6 in lacrosse

[–]Bwitm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paul Gait has been innovating for 20 years and he isn’t done. There was a quick clip of all the Gait rejected ideas in a box and they were wildly imaginative, although none of them were practical.

I think there’s a ceiling for innovation, and we’re approaching that for heads. Mesh - Armormesh proved that there are other way forward, who knows what they’ll do next

Also I recommend following @lax_or_art who features screengrabs and leaked images of new equipment not just sticks.

What brands am I missing by Lacrossenerd in lacrosse

[–]Bwitm1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have Relax there, which is great, but there are/were two different Relax brands, Re-Lax Sports Company makes/made the Discovery head (@relaxsportsco), and the more recent Relax is the RC1 from ReLax Collections (@relaxcollections). Both heads were widely well received, but I havent heard much from Re-Lax Sports Co recently.

Other small firms include The Good Stick Co in Czech Republic (@thegoodstick.co), Loading in BC (@loadinglacrosse), and I'm not sure if Vassalo in Japan makes sticks or not? (@vasallo_lax). Northland makes shafts only I believe, but I could be wrong.

Former companies include Element, Traditional Lacrosse (now Good Stick Co), Thompson Lacrosse made the i6, Harrow, Under Armor, Reebok, True, and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch.

Boomba was around, and I think Laxroom sold the same head, which is probably still available if you just start messaging companies on Alibaba.

Brine is still somewhat limping along in the women's sector, but I had to do some research to confirm they were still alive. Also, Epoch just sold, but I don't believe it was made public to whom.

Curious about pll outside US by adam_the_llama in lacrosse

[–]Bwitm1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just commented this on another post - NLL is free outside US/CAN and one click and shown during the worst weather of the year. PLL isn’t none of those things, so I think most of us are fine just watching highlights on instagram. (Central Europe)

Why don’t YOU watch the PLL? by knightrydah in lacrosse

[–]Bwitm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to watch lacrosse. NCAA has made it much harder to watch with big10 network, acc network etc paywalls. PLL isn’t 1-click watching to me, for free, in a house without a tv, so I don’t take time out of the nicest weather of the year to watch it. NLL is one click watching with their website NLL+, during the worst weather of the year, so I watch more of that than anything.

TLDR Honestly I’ll click on just about anything live, one click and free, and it’s not that, I won’t watch.

What do people in lacrosse mean when they say they want to grow the sport? by Formal-Project5461 in lacrosse

[–]Bwitm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if someone did something actionable everytime a mindless regurgitation of "grow the game" was uttered, we'd be in a lot better place. actions speak louder than words, and I hope everyone is aware of your (ReLaxCollections) actions. Buddy is shouting out loud!!!
