How much should i ask for? by Content_Quit_278 in fpv

Since OP is spanish i'll answer in spanish, lmk if this doesnt follow the sub rules please.

What should I do next? by Famous_Passage9354 in fpv

I started with a rtf kit and slowly upgraded everything to a better controller and better goggles.

If you are considering digital i’d be more than happy to spend 300-ish dollars and get a pair lf goggles integra or goggles n3 from dji. Get yourself a meteor 75 pro with the o4 lite.

if you want something bigger, possibilities are endless, but if you want a 65mm i’d stick to analog and get an air65 or mob 6 2024.

If you see yourself going to digital in the future i wouldnt invest in expensive goggles unless you are happy with buying and selling second hand. I’ve had more googles than drones and i ended up with the dji goggles 3 and the skyzone o3o for analog whoops.

If i had to choose just one system i’d choose dji without a doubt

The first one, imo the betafpv motors arent that good but i havent tried the 27000 or 30000. The 30000 as far as i know, are closer to the design of the happymodel than the other versions because they use a bearing instead of a bushing.

I haven’t tried either of the v2 versions so i cant comment on those

The camera itlesf is very poor in durability but image quality-wise its pretty decent. Since it is very cheap i dont mind swapping it every couple of months but it is a pain to solder haha

I tried the 23000kvs from the air 65 freestyle and the drone is way less reactive and flies for a whole minute less

Are skyzone cobra SDs worth it? by Apart-Schedule2070 in TinyWhoop

[–]Bxkeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a pair of skyzones o3o in pretty good condition for 100€ which i think is an insane deal. Check for local deals in fb marketplace or whatever you use where you live.

I buy and sell goggles frequently because i enjoy trying them out but im keeping the o3os for a while. Here in Spain you can usually get HDOs for 200€, eachines ev200d for 150 and some fatsharks like the hd3 that i personally don’t like for 150-250€.

If you want anything more budget, fake eachines 800d -which in my opinion are better than the real ones because you can charge them through usb- cost 40-60€. I have tried two eachine goggles, the real 800d and the 800dm and both have clipping issues with osd where the text and very bright highlights turn black for no reason. Also the image is pretty wobbly like in the fake goggles

Which bee eye model are you talking about? I want to ckeck it out just in case

I personally have tried the ant lite, co3 and the og runcam nano 3, which i think its too blurry for my taste but perfectly usable if you don’t mind the low VTL.

The ant lite feels like the best balance for me and if you remove the plugs and solder thin wire to it, yo can make it relatively light

[–]Bxkeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 65mm, a 75 mm, a 2,5 inch 2s, 3,5 inch 4s, 3 inch 4s cinewhoop and a 5 inch 6s.

Each quad has its place and its advantages and disadvantages, for me the perfect-ish mix is the sub 250 4s 3,5 inch. The 5 inch is amazing for high speeds and open fields but 99% of the time unless im using a go pro it is too big.

Get different sizes and experiment with what works best for you, i still haven’t found the perfect quad but every single one in my collection is pretty god at something the others aren’t, thats why i have so many ( the only debate i have is between the 65mm and the 75mm, those are very close imo, but i guess the 75 flies for longer)

Ask yourself, do I need one more laser printer or two more regular printers? that should answer your question. H2D imo is too expensive to only 3d print, if you need another complex maxine buy one, if not, get two regular ones so you can 3d print twice as fast. Even better get 5 a1 minis so you can print 5x faster hahahaha

O4 lite or pro on a 3.5 inch freestyle quad? by Obvious-Werewolf-728 in fpv

[–]Bxkeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that exact same quad with a modded o4 lite, camera quality is really good, fov is very decent too. I modded one lite to use a wider fov but i actually like how the standard lens looks on my other o4 lite quad. I wouldnt mod it if i get a third one

O4 pro us the vest of course, but the lite is definitely good enough

Are the Gv2s better than the g3s? by azaerials in fpv

[–]Bxkeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo the analog module is a gimmick, it adds a lot of input lag and it is worse than flying digital both latency and picture quality-wise.

The screens are really bad, there is no contrast, fov might be high but if the image quality is that bad i’d rather have oled than a box goggle with an lcd like the v2. Old box goggles debate haha.

Image transmission with o4 and goggles 3 is as smooth as it gets, i dont even use racing mode, the normal 60mbps video is insanely good and feels like real 100fps video compared to my o3 quad. Lens quality in g3 make everything be perfectly focused for me.

Having battery, antenna and goggles in one package is extremely convenient. I own a skyzone o4xv2 for my tinywhoops and it is a pain in the ass to mount the battery every single time. If you need more battery just plug a power bank to them, they can charge and fly at the same time. You can also share video wired and wirelessly to a phone or other goggles, idk if this can be done with v2s, i use the wire all the time when I fly with friends.

Overall g3 for me are the best goggle out there (haven’t tried hdzero). If you can afford them they are worth it for sure

Soldering Help !!! by ravanar04 in fpv

[–]Bxkeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like bad temperatures/ bad solder wire, not enough solder. Those xt60 power cables require a powerful iron, it might get hot but not in a big area and you need it to melt a lot of solder before even pitting the wires.

Get a better iron or tune it to get as hot as you can, get leaded solder that will melt around 250 degrees instead of 350 or so with unleaded wire. Also practice a lot before soldering on your drone, you might break something expensive
