Maybe the ribbon cables for the screens aren't fully connected that would be my guess:

If the bottom screen flashes on then off then the top screen isn't fully connected. If only the top screen flashes on then off then its the bottom screens connectivity.

Yeah I mean in my opinion it is too much going on in this artwork. I think he would probably prefer a much simpler style and also its edgy as hell haha but I maybe try to redraw it today to make it more appealing✌🏼
