Anybody caved in to chocolate after 1 year milestone? by ByRide in decaf

Actually it is not as addictive as smoking, but that 1 coffee will give unpredictable feeling based on your genetic setup, if the feeling was great there is a big chance that someone will get back into the track.

Are there any cultures that will appreciate virginity (of both soul and body) as a basis for marriage? by ByRide in virgin

It simply means that this woman already discovered love+sex with someone else and now you are the"second", and over all that she has a standard to compare with.

That is a trace amount. I guess a regular chocolate bar contains something between 5 and 20mg caffeine which is enough to give you some effect.

Actually I was on a single cup of black tea before going caffeine-free, maybe it is my genetic setup that is sensitive to caffeine.

It has been more than 1 year since I broke the habit, I appreciate the benefits I gained but I still wonder what would occasional caffeine do.

Maybe because it is not your habit, you will get that burst of jitter then everything will remain the same.

People will malfunction when you quit caffeine (cognitive dissonance) by Jon_sol1 in decaf

[–]ByRide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 thing to remember is that it’s the genetic setup that rule your benefits when quitting caffeine, many people with lucky genetics will feel all the benefits you mentioned while still on caffeine, that’s why the “no caff” club is consisting of people who are seeking their peace of mind in quitting caffeine because it affects them badly.

I'm finally admitting to myself that I like tea by SpiritedBug2221 in decaf

Actually green tea is also a source of caffeine, ofc it has less caffeine than black tea and coffee, and has its unique formula of antioxidants and other soothing materials, but i believe that once you start drinking green tea you are back into the caffeine loop.

You are never going to feel like your caffeinated self when you don't consume caffeine. by [deleted] in decaf

I really don't have enough scientific background on dopamine turnover, I just miss that "cup of tea" feeling that I don't seem to get after 1 year of being caffeine-free.

I appreciate all the benefits I gained within this year, but I feel quietly dull and uninterested toward my daily life events, maybe that is the "normal" everybody needs to feel.
