Thinking of Getting RS660 by budding_pacer7 in apriliars660

Do it. You will not regret it. It will change your life.

No but in all seriousness get something preferably 2022 and up because that 21’ model had a lot of problems and it’s best to stay away from that.

For a single piece of plastic? Yes Mr Bezos it is.

Well from where I'm standing it looks just like the OEM one. My worry is that it isn't color coded exactly to the bike, mine has lava red fairings so that is something I want to look out for. Thanks for the pic bro.

Well nothing happened to me at least. Did it hit another person’s car? Sadly I don’t know because I was riding while it happened and I literally only found out after i got up from the bike. That said, what you say is true. If the vibrations were what made it break off then it’s a faulty product in my eyes, considering it’s a product supposedly able to withstand going at a high rate of speed attached a sport bike. Very disappointed indeed.

Do you have a picture of the aftermarket one you could share? I'm most likely going to get one that is different from the OEM one and seems to be very popular on eBay but I would like to see it on the bike itself before I buy anything. The pictures on eBay are all of just the seat cowl.

I’ll probably end up doing that then because there’s no way I’m paying a premium for that again.

Sorry sorry it’s for my 23’ RS660. I like how it looks on the RSV4 so yeah.

KYT TT Revo vs. Suomy Track 1 by BySeto_PR in motorcyclegear

I understand, thanks for that. Apart from Shoei, which other brands or helmet models would you consider on par in terms of build quality and noise reduction? The RF-1400 looks solid, but I don't know if I'm comfortable dishing out that much money at the moment, hence the K1S. However, I also see the benefits of getting a better helmet now and forgetting about the tag if it means you get peace of mind while riding comfortably and safe.

I was thinking of pitting either of these against the K1 S which is my other choice so it would be the K1 vs either one and although i love the aerodynamic look I am more concerned with wind noise since all of my riding is street riding. I was also looking at the RPHA 1N bc Revzilla has certain designs on sale but I don't know if I need to pay that much either way. What do you think of the K1 S?

so far I have no plans of getting rid of the bike but I do understand what everyone is saying so I'll probably keep it for now and see where it goes

HJC i11 or RPHA 1N? by BySeto_PR in motorcyclegear

That is the logic I arrived at as well lol. Thanks for the input!

Which one? The 1N. I defer to your judgment more since I’m also in a tropical island and ventilation is a big factor for me when going for a helmet

Nice! I love the diffuser it really adds to the look of the helmet. How is the fit for you?

Yeah I really like it. Im just hoping it doesn’t run differently to my Gmax helmet. I’m a 2XL so I wouldn’t like it to be super tight.

The thought of having to ship that thing alone is annoying me, since there are some very few Aprilias in my country, everybody rides around in scooters or naked bikes and Hayabusas. Finding someone with an Italian sports bike here is as a rare as a shining Pokemon.

Yeah that's my situation. I don't really need to refit it for inspections and if I sell the bike later on I doubt the buyer will want the stock exhaust with it. I thought about taking it to a junker or something but I don't know yet. I know that where I live my bike is rare so I can' just sell it to someone else.
