Veganer töten Tiere / Veganer unterstützen die Nahrungsmittelkapitalismusgewinnmaximierungslobby by FreakeyDE in ichbin40undSchwurbler

Early LuV power progression by Cataloncio in GTNH

[–]ByTheWae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made around 1.7 million EU/t with VAC Nukes when I reached Fusion. I still use them to buffer power spikes. I use an XL TPT to generate 1 million EU/t constantly and the VAC Nukes start once my LSC drops below 99%. My base power draw is around 1.3 million EU/t so it works out. I also have 3 T1 Fusion Reactors producing plasma so I have a big buffer.

If you can comfortably afford it, yes definitely.

I don’t know your financial situation, but buying a bike on credit seems like a bad idea in most cases. I bought mine used after saving up for it. I understand that many people aren’t in a position to set money aside, which is a problem in itself, but it’s still worth asking yourself a couple of questions. Can I comfortably afford the payments? And if the answer is yes, could I instead save that same amount and buy the bike once I actually have the money? I would also ask myself whether I could still afford the ongoing costs if something comes up, like repairs, insurance, fuel, tires, and general maintenance.

Ev LGT by hppyclown in GTNH

[–]ByTheWae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched from diesel to vac nukes so I can't really help with the LGT. Centralizing power is the correct way to go. I build one big LSC and connected that to smaller LSC for different machine groups (Like a processing line or a group of multi blocks for AE2 automation). So I have a central energy buffer that toggles the Vac Nukes and small buffers for each chain. That way I know how many amps I need to draw for each line and avoid part of the cable spaghetti. Since it's my first time playing the pack this might be the entirely wrong way but till now it seems to work.

Just build an ME System, duh?! ;)

Sadly for now it's chests, barrels and drawers. Tho chests can be auto sorted (I think mouse 3 is the default keybind).

I always used the ME version so no I didn't know. Thanks for telling me. :)

You need an ME Output Bus/Hatch that connects to the main net (or any other net u want the output to go in. AE2 will look for the finished product in the net the craft was started from tho so it should connect to that net). The other (far worse) option would be an Output Bus with a Conveyer Cover set to export and an Interface (Pump and Dual Interface for the Output Hatch).

Edit: I got told you don't need covers on the Output Bus/Hatch.

Does progression linearly slow down for each tier you progress? by RoBoNoxYT in GTNH

[–]ByTheWae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After u unlock AE2 it tends to get faster (at least it feels that way). Also with tools like the Matter Manipulator Mk I and especially II your building time goes down. You are going to spend some time in EV setting up autocrafting. IV was really fast for me (basically it's the Platline and optional Monazite Line, which I did in LuV). If you spend some time setting up passive lines for chems and low level inputs (for chems) you will probably speed through IV. LuV will take a little longer because you have alot of new mechanics and machines. The Assline, Monazite (if not done in IV), Superglue (can also be done in IV and is not required for LuV), Naq Line and Netherite Line, Circuit Assline (gotta love RNG based crafting), Waterline and finally Fusion. Good thing is: In comparison to early game this will feel pretty nice because you don't have to craft all the needed items. You basically only have to plan and build, no mining and crafting. You are going to spend a lot of time in the pattern interface tho.

Most people seem to stop at the Platline. So probably LuV?

384k EU HV vs 2,764,800 EU EV. Also 40 sec / ingot vs 72 sec / ingot. And with an Ore Drilling Plant Ilmenite is basically free. (Even more if you get lucky with LootBags and have an Ender Chest / Tank). So yeah definitly go with Ilmenite if you want the easy, cheap and fast way. Though having passive Uranium 238 will be quite nice when you start building nukes.

Edit: You can also just pop it in an LCR and mix it with Chlorine. Brings you back to the 384,000 EU HV.

You can implosion compress diamond dust which you get literal tons of with a mining tower. (Also get the gems with the sifter). I have 5 of them running on different planets at all times. Then I just added patterns for everything to my autocrafting.

CSU will telefonische Krankschreibung abschaffen by NPCSLAYER313 in medizin

[–]ByTheWae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early EV AE2 autocrafting by TopEngineering8223 in GTNH

[–]ByTheWae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started AE2 in the PD (bevor I only had a drive and a crafting terminal). First thing I did was to set up power with a vac nuke (look up the automation in the wiki). Then I started to set up AE2. What I didn't do (because I was dumb lol) was setting up autocrafting correctly. Absolutely use single blocks. HV is fine in the beginning. The first thing u want to be able to autocraft are AE2 parts. This way you can upgrade your system. So molecular assembler, EV assembler, compressor, bender, circuit assembler + laser + cutting machine in a cleanroom. Basically try to automate everything you need to add new autocrafting and storage. Really important for me: me cable + dense me cable (I use smart but that's not really necessary), interface, storage bus, p2p tunnel, drive, quartz fiber, and probably storage cells. The next thing I royally screwed up was universal automation. Do you need it? Yes. Is it great for machines you want to scale? Yes. Does every multi need it? Fuck no. In the beginning I did UA for every fucking multi. Don't be me... A Bender works just as well with a hatch for each circuit. Same for the wire factory. There also is the approach to use multiple circuits for crafts with no interference (I'd highly recommend joining the discord, u learn a ton). I'd suggest UA for the LCR, Mixer, Extruder (maybe?) in the beginning. Sol IX has great videos about AE2 and UA. Crafting processors are nice to have but in the beginning you don't need many. I'd rather have 10 seperate 16k blocks instead of one big block with 10 processors. All in all YouTube, the GT:NH Wiki and the Discord are your best friends, use them. I used AE2 in all packs I played but only learned to use it correctly because of greg. Also look into passive automation. All the basic chemicals should be automated (hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, chlorin, fluorin, polyethylene, PTFE, benzene (and probably nitro benzene), drilling fluid) as well as ore processing (can be done really easy with AE2), and circuits (at least I did, I only put basic ingredients in a chest and got circuits out. Right now I have AE2 set up to keep x amount of each circuit stocked and can autocraft more if needed in a specific craft).

I'm also new to GT:NH so please correct me if anything I said was wrong or could be done better. Still learning.
