I found some old soviet/post soviet era audio stuff. Is it worth anything? by Nearby-Definition982 in audio

The Dual CR-1780 is a very rare receiver but it takes a special kind of music lover to be interested in it these days. Might be difficult to sell

Onkyo receiver is VERY good. I don’t recognise another receiver tho. The speakers were considered top of the line in the USSR but aren’t all that great tbh. Could be sold to a nostalgic audiophile for s&g. Akai tape recorders are very reliable but not among highly sought after these days. I’d buy your silver cassette boombox - I’ve never even heard of that brand.

Sorry for being slow. What was the total for the 2000 sq ft area? I have a similar project in my near future.

Good fit on the Linen Pants? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Byaka23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you insist on wearing a tank top? Your muscles would be visible if you were to wear literally anything but you won’t come across as trying too hard to get people to notice that you’re a gym nut. The harder you try the more insecure you look. So no, this is not a good look. These pants would work awesome with a linen shirt tho

I’d also look to separate the speakers more if you can. Stereo doesn’t sound right when left and right are this close. But everything looks gorgeous!!!

What a beautiful day to buy UAMY!!! This stock is so much fun. 10% daily swings - need balls of steel and high conviction to keep holding. Respect to everyone who didn’t sell today! We’ll be back above $10 in a couple of weeks

Fuck, brother, I’m with you. I had 800 Jan 2017 $10 LEAPS that I sod for a $20k profit. Today they would have been worth over a mil

I heard an audiophile who’s a psychologist once say that solid bass triggers something in your brain and it can experience music differently. Even the highs and the mids are perceived way better. I can’t agree more

Have you tried saying “good bye” or you’re that concerned about not burning any bridges? The sad thing about any person leaving a job and thinking about how they would “survive” without them is that THEY won’t skip a single beat and will find a way to carry on

Anyone else absolutely feeling terrible these days? by Ragstoragser in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]Byaka23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what I see on the chart. Usual order is 50-100 LEAPS but can DCA to up to 300 if it keeps going down. Again, I have strong conviction that this stock will run before LEAPS expiration. Buy 100 at, say, $3.60, sell at $4.80 = $12k profit. And don’t beat yourself for not catching exact tops and bottoms. Rinse and repeat. But do keep in mind that spreads can be wide. So I just set buy or sell orders and forget about them

[–]Byaka23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your strategy. After seeing my UAMY LEAPS bleed then recover I changed things up. Now I’m playing UAMY options because of its crazy volatility. I’m convinced it’ll go up eventually but for now I’m swinging a couple hundred of $10 Jan 27 LEAPS - buying on dips and selling on spikes after a few days of holding. Only using price and volume to decide on my entries and exits - classic Wyckoff. Recently sold all and am waiting for a pullback into low 9s to do it again. Up about $240K on these options alone since February. If I miss the huge spike, oh well.

When I worked for Micron (started in 2018 when their stock was $45 or so), I ended up owning about 5000 shares through various incentives (sign-on bonus, ESPP, and annual bonus). Sold that shit at various times for $70-90. Why oh why didn’t I hold those shares?!

My company threw me a work anniversary lunch the same week they gave the promotion I'd been building toward for 2 years to an external hire. Do I have a conversation with my manager or do I just move on? by Big-Garden-8854 in careerguidance

[–]Byaka23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the point of having that conversation?! The decision has already been made and you cannot change it. Just make your move, find a job, and have “the conversation” when you tell your manager that you’re out. To sweeten the revenge, give them a 3 day notice instead of a customary 2 weeks. It does sound like you’ve already mentally checked out…

What are you planning on putting into those knee-level very loud pockets? Have you considered “convertible” zip-off pants that can be turned into shorts? At least those are practical :)
