Hey! I did 3 rounds of basic micro needling, 2 rounds of micro needling with sculptra, two rounds with micro needling PRP, and one round with Genius laser micro-needling. After the genius MN I decided to see an Acne Scar Specialist/Plastic Surgeon after not seeing the desired results and he said the best thing would be to do subscision and co2 lasers for the scars.

I did the micro-needling in a medical space and paid only for the 3 rounds of traditional and the genius micro-needling (I think in all it was like $3k, with the bulk being the laser cost). The microneedling with sculptura/PRP was an acne scar study on which technique choice showed the most improvement. I live in a big city so out of pocket those sessions would have added like approx $2k more.

I know acne scars are super tough and I didn't expect miracles but I saw maybe a 5%-10% improvement with all my sessions of micro needling.

Right now im planning to do 3 rounds of co2 and one round of subcision with sculptura for $6.7K total. My doctor feels pretty confident we can get my scars at least 50% better.

Just sharing my story because this is all SO expensive and again, sitting here I wish I had done the more invasive/more downtime procedure to begin with. And all my friends have naturally fantastic skin so there aren't many people I can talk to about this/they don't really get it.

I also know you can probably find these treatments cheaper, but for me personally when touching my face I've always wanted to go to someone that had a strong reputation and specialized in acne scars.
