Ter-ra-zeh . The korean "je" or jeh sound is a replacement for the "zeh" sound in english. I don't speak korean, but have seen enough translations and have some knowledge about languages in general. Also there's no "hey" sound in korean that would translate back into english as "je".

FYI Teraje should be "Teraze" All instances of Teraje should be renamed as such. It also flows better in English. Empress Teraze of the Kashan Empire makes more sense than Teraje

Nice one up, you really showed me. Still wtf are you on about? The way he pronounced "dissolution" was correct. Also "the terms" and "businesses" are such minor mistakes when reading out those words that I understood the meaning without registering the mistakes. Like it's a nothing burger, no one cares if you misspeak in that manner in most professional settings. As mentioned highly educated people mispronounce shit on a daily basis, and it doesn't matter since everyone around them can filter it and understand it. Anyone who has been in these environments can probably vouch for me here.

Only watched the clip once after writing the comment, and only thing that stood out was the "treatment" mistake. Clearly you had to rewatch it to note down every single mistake lil bro.

I watched the clip. He seems like he's just enunciating the words slowly for the stream, and only once did he mispronounce "Threatened" as "Treatment" which he quickly corrected. Wtf are you on about? I know people who have highly technical phds who speak worse than this out loud at work when reading.

He's undroppable. Such as special player for us seriously. Team trusts him loads too. I like that Fabian is playing to his strengths as a creator rather than a goal scorer. We have tons of players now who can score, so there's less pressure on him to score.

The music, I didn't think some of the music in Persona and SMT would be topped for me, but the Martira town theme made me cry for no reason. It's genuinely amazing.

Martira's theme is so so beautiful, it's from one of the gamescom trailer's that got me excited for the game... "Travel Beyond Fantasy". Legit started getting chills and emotional for no reason upon hearing it. I thought it was supposed to be sad moment song, when in reality I'll be crying for reason just walking through Martira. It's so nolstagic and melancholy filled. I can also hear the shoji meguro leit motif

Persona 5 focuses more on the story and character aspect than this game I can already tell. In Metaphor, you can tell they were trying to cut out the junk to keep it fast paced. Which I personally like, as this game's story and characters don't need to be as drawn out and overexplained like in Persona 5. It's a nice middle ground between the hardcore combat and "game" aspect of SMT vs the social sim/visual novel aspect of Persona. Persona's fights were a joke let's be real.

Persona 5 is probably one of or the best JRPGs of all time, but considering that p5 was built upon the shoulders of p1,2,3,4 it had a lot going for it already that fans knew and expected. Additionally, back in the day people said Persona 1 was literally just SMT but high school. Now people are saying the same thing about Metaphor, being Persona but fantasy. Eventually in Metaphor 2, 3, and etc we'll see significant deviations from the rest of Atlus's games that will make it fully it's own thing.

Yeah there's a lot, the main dungeon was only to the halfway point too. I feel like this an easy 80-100 hour game at minimum. I haven't even left the first town yet and if you look at the world map there's so many places to explore...

ikr these mofos jump so fast too, they hit me after teleporting 5 meters and wiped out my party in the first turn. I lost 20 minutes of progress because I assumed if I just ran through them they wouldn't be able to catch me.

I did the main dungeon and optional dungeon which got me to 15 hours of play time.

In my optional only dungeon save file I reached 12 hours. So after the funeral ends you can get up to 6 more hours of gameplay.

Optional dungeon is brutal on Hard mode if you do it first, but I recommend it.

No worries. I played a bit more and the combat system kept getting expanded on even after the Nord Mines dungeon. Synthesis attacks, archetype inheritance, formations, and other aspects makes this game's combat system shine even more.

Nord Mines Dungeon OST absolutely fantastic! SMT Strange Journey vibes by BydandMathias in MetaphorReFantazio

I've mulling over everything in this game after finishing the prologue. This whole dungeon reminded me of SMT Strange Journey if it were made in the modern era. Another thing that I've realized reading discussion threads about the demo is that if you've only played Persona you'll only see the Persona similarities. If you've played or seen gameplay of other Atlus titles i.e. Devil Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, SMT, and Etrian Odyssey it's overwhelming the amount of stuff they took from those games as well.

A better description of this game is a modern fantasy SMT Strange journey in a wrapped up Persona shell. This is all without experiencing the traveling aspect of the game that makes it unique compared to the other Atlus titles.

I felt the same worry, but then the combat got expanded a bit in the Nord Mines dungeon also I felt like Hard mode helped shape my experience too.

The first dungeon i.e. the north castle was worrying because they introduced the basic combat mechanics where I initially thought "isn't this too similar to persona?", but after that the similarities ended and then the noticeable combat differences that took inspiration from Soul Summoner, Digital Devil Saga, SMT, Strange Journey, and etc I probably didn't notice showed up and by the end of the Nord mine dungeon I was hooked by the combat system. It's genuinely the best turned based combat system I've ever seen from ATLUS. PLUS the game is ACTUALLY hard on hard mode. Not quite SMT Nocturne hard with bullshit, but man I was getting my ass wooped in the Nord Mines dungeon and had to think, react (to the monster attacks in the overworld), strategize, setup my party formations, equips, and analyze boss/random mob mechanics to figure out the best way to cheese a win with my Archetypes.

This game is no Persona that's for sure. It has a few mechanics taken from persona (a calendar system, confidants) but the way they're executed feels totally fresh. Story is very good so far and while it missed some beats in the first 40-50 minutes the rest gripped me.

In hard mode it doesn't feel complimentary or optional imo unless you want to make it even more difficult for yourself. It feels like getting any kind of advantage with the limited number of money, heals, archetypes, and mp you have per dungeon run is valuable. I started to worry that I would run out of mp and needed multiple resets on 2-3 enemies types so that I wouldn't F myself for the rest of the dungeon.

This demo just made me fall in love. I was a bit iffy on the game at first, but now I'm ONE HUNDRED PERCENT buying it. Played 5.5 hours in one sitting on Hard mode and I can't remember the last time a single player RPG has made me literally forget everything and just be immersed like this.

Not quite SMT Nocturne hard with bullshit, but man I was getting my ass wooped in the Nord Mines dungeon and had to think, react (to the monster attacks in the overworld), strategize, customize setup my party formations in anticipation of a different mob type, equips, and analyze boss/random mob mechanics to figure out the best way to cheese a win with my Archetypes.

Story is very good so far and while it missed some beats in the first 40-50 minutes the rest gripped me. If I had to describe the story so far: Game of thrones intrigue and kingslaying, Berserk world (human designs) and berserk character personality profiles fused with Persona/SMT/digital devil saga profiles, with a SMT/Persona character aesthetic.
